If Bowen really was a target and he really has told us no then we best have other right wingers lined up.

I still want Chiesa but have a strong feeling that’s never going to happen.

But I’m now out of right winger suggestions.

Anyone seen any top quality in foreign leagues? (ones we’d have an actual chance of signing that is)

I don’t believe that Bowen was ever a target if I am honest.

Think he has a £45m release clause and is on around £70000 a week currently

 

He’s in £200k a week allegedly. This was done to make him sign a new contract so they get something for him.

 

Tons of players who can play on the right and improve on Miggy. Sure we’ll get one. Just a shame we didn’t last year. Let’s thank the lord he never hit a purple patch in last 6 games

We're a mid table club basically having fallen out of Europe, so the likes of Chiesa are a non starter. There's plenty of good players out there to improve the squad though. It'll be largely underwhelming as usual because people can't seem to accept where the club ranks in terms of appeal at the moment.

The squad is largely still packed with sub standard players and there's a skimming across the top of quality in the 1st 11.

3 or top players would be nice and it is possible, but I get the impression they're going to strengthen the squad overall rather than the top end of the playing squad.

If we keep all our players, no europe is probably a good thing. Means we have 3 transfer windows before being in europe again and we don't have to rush things

 

Players sales are required .. they can't keep having to use the likes of Dubravka Schar Burn Longstaff Murphy and the likes of Trippier and Wilson are finished players.

This is a big summer that if they get wrong will need Howes reign and see club join the likes of Everton as the latest club to attempt to compete.

Let's hope they get it right and they can stand still at least for a year or two.

Yeah Barnes was a waste of coin... Gordon is not as good on the right.

 

Barnes, I believe, will make a great 70 minute substitution

 

Yeah plus Gordon will probably be injured sooner or later.
