I love Brighton, although the anti-woke contingent won't agree. All that vegan food etc. and alternative comedy. Only negative is you have to get your wallet out
They have a stony beach too. Well it was the last time I was there about 30 years ago. I prefer a sandy beach...
Tankerton beach has somehow been given the Blue flag award - how can that be when it’s got the 2nd highest sewage discharges in Kent ! I won’t be swimming in it that’s for sure
Ofwat is a waste of time and money. If you can pump sewage into Lake Windermere you have carte blanche to do whatever the hell you like.
Always pleased to see this thread bumped back to the top And it’s hilarious to see that this thread was started by @Smudger603 whereas the good news thread was started by @lardiman. That’s genuinely made me smile this morning .
Knowing of certain members hatred of having to provide photo ID to vote now in the UK, I’m assuming this will be the end of @lardiman ever travelling into the EU again ? I wonder if the EU will insist that illegal immigrants also do this, so that they can be returned to their first point of entry into a safe country https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckmm866p23mo
The only EU Country I ever visited was the ROI about 30 years ago, on a driving holiday. It's a very scenic place. I like Scotland too for similar reasons. When I visited Ireland we were an EU Country as well of course. These days such holidays as I take are within the UK
Half term holidays, and only a handful of kids playing in Godington Park which is huge. Shockin, juss shockin.
