Might the convalescing ay home with a particularly nasty haemorrhoid after chopping too much wood on too cold a day. That **** can take weeks. So I hear.
So what you are saying is you don't know anything and it is supposition on your part. The play off final is today which will mark the end of the season for the Championship. I expect to hear something soon but would also expect the club to have contacted all players first to inform them who the new manager/HC is, and as we know most will be on holidays at the moment. Cheap shots at the club help no one and the fact that the club seem to be doing business without many leaks seems very professional to me so I will be patient and not throw my toys out the pram.
TM was the one who started the defensive shift using Hume as right back and then asking him to come inside as an extra defensive midfielder, meaning we had no width on the right or support for our right sided midfielder, who had already lost Amad as support. This coincided with Dodds moving from his developmental role to that of a first team coach.
He’s a better manager than some make out mind. Still very fresh to management and his spell at Chelsea was no worse than the likes of Sarri before him and certainly better than Potter/Pochettino.
It's more his work at Derby and Everton that would worry me. It's not hard to have a 50% win percentage at Chelsea
I dont think the coaching badges will be an issue mate. Still started the Pro Licence early 2023 and at that point Reims stopped being fined. The pro licence is usually 18 months, but can flex. I think somebody put on here he was doing his last unit, which is 4 days I think plus graduation. Even if he hasnt completed he still has another 18 months to complete it if he hasnt done so yet, before we would be subject to any sanctions. I really cant see that happening given his commitment to his career and study to date. I think qualifications are a big red herring propogated in the media who do not understamd how they work
Derby he done alright to be fair, look where they are now. Everton was poor but they’re a shambles at the min I’m sure they were only just above the relegation places when they sacked Benitez to bring him in. Hasn’t really done anything spectacular but I think he’s held his own following on from great managers who’ve been sacked for poor results and he’s still young so only room for improvement. We’ll not talk about when he took over Chelsea on a temp basis
Again Bob you don't know that either you are just using the delay to have some digs at KS. I don't know KS and have never met the man, truth is I don't think I would like him, but apart from a bad season this season everything else at the club smacks of a good job done. Our academy and ladies teams are all flying and the foundations we have been moaning about and which SD and CM destroyed have been built stronger than they have been in years. That alone means that the first team should be able to go from strength to strength, so I do believe this coming season is probably the time to judge KS and the model we are working to.
Copley said he’d be shocked if we appointed in next 3 days but then pretty much admitted he doesn’t know I think it was more a reflection on there’s no firm rumour it’s imminent / decided, and the fact it’s a BH weekend. I’m now hoping Magnus’ 1st June comment he’s been repeating is the reality
Imagine if the delay is we are waiting to appoint either Farke or Martin. Would be delighted with either of them.
