Red Bull takes a minority shareholding in Leeds Utd https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cx88w2nneego Could this be the beginning of RB Leeds? Already the ream will have the Red Bull logo as the main sponsor on their shirts. What will the EFL have to say...
I say good luck to players if they go on Strike over this; https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c2jjmn7ex4vo Normally I have little sympathy for overpaid, cosseted brats. But nobody except the FIFA top brass wants this 32 team Club World Cup. Fans have not been crying out for it. I'd guess 99.9% couldn't give a toss, as most could not afford the money or time to go and watch it live. Many supporters are likely to be wary of this Club World Cup, as it's an obvious way that players could get injured. I might have heard somewhere that Premier League Clubs are considering boycotting it. Good on them if they do
You know when you've been Tanguyed https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c800gg3l637o Anyone ever get their eardrums perforated after that stupid TV advert about 40 years ago?
We play AFC Wimbledon in a preseason friendly, so he's bound to score against us. Likewise Josh Davison.
