Would’ve got home for the start of the match if the **** had taken off on time. Sat on the tarmac at Gatwick for 15 mins now for no apparent reason. Plane is full of pensioners for some reason all wittering on about absolutely **** all. ****s.

Still in South Wales - got a lovely run to the local tip this morning ... not sure yet if we are travelling back today or tomorrow - might even go via the Hay-On-Wye festival... but it will be packed with ****ing tourists!

Was a bird at uni from Coalville. Proper 9.5/10 (boring though) and she had a much older boyfriend who was a hairdresser and about as camp as Dale Winton in a bath full of semen. They have two kids now.

 

I've actually been down the pit in Coalville - Snibbys as it was known - then a 15 year old Geology O'Level student on a field trip - an amazing experience which, a few years later, set me being firmly in the camp of King Arthur and the miners in their revolt - sadly, Snibston's went the same way as many others pits ...

There was a whole different world down there - highways and alleys and hewn out room spaces, all lit by strips and lamps - remember seeing loads of miners eating their pack lunches in a 'room' as big as a village hall - we also crawled along a new seam shaft that you couldn't stand up in - no way would health & safety have allowed it today
