I believe he's only got one game Syd. If things go badly on Sunday at Wolves, I just can't see Ellis having Steve Bruce in the dug out at the SOL for the Blackburn match, knowing that he is very likely to experience even worse abuse than last weekend, should Blackburn get anything from the game.

Win Sunday and Ellis will risk it and keep Steve Bruce in charge for the next home game. Lose on Sunday and he's gone IMO.

 

4th option, Ellis sells up.

Gareth Southgate anyone. Not my first choice but being realistic. Unlucky at boro imo.

Wolves are ****e so you will beat them then beat Blackburn who are also ****e. Then who knows all this hatred and bitching might end.

 

Wigan are worse than both Wolves and Blackburn and we lost at home to them. We haven't got the best record away to Wolves either, so I have very little confidence that we will get anything there.

 

Weird how the only person who thinks we'll beat Wolves is a mag!

 

Theres no point in giving him two more games to loose! Even if he wins them he will just get a load more flack when the inevitable slump comes again, the damage he has and is doing has gone too far!

Sack him now and give the new guy a fighting chance to keep us up coz believe it or not we are already in a relegation fight in my eyes!

I dont think we could beat Wolves with a 1 goal headstart. Our team know they cant score goals and **** themselves in case they concede. Consequently, we concede because we are ****ting ourselves all the time. Heads immediatley go down and the team know whats coming next.

Unless we employ a manager that turns this negative feeling around and quick, we WILL be relegated this season.

Of that I am in no doubt at all.

I feel that any side picked by Bruce at present couldn't win a raffle never mind a football match-I feel that the Mags have more chance of a top 4 finish than we have of winning at Wolves.
I feel that Ellis should be big enough to admit that the Board messed up big time giving Bruce an extended contract and that he/the Board should bite the bullet and pay SB the extra compensation;but isn't being clueless the same as being incompetent and there should be no reason to pay him off.
