quite a few quotes from buckle after todays barnet defeat.

thats because the players you brought in are not good enough.

possession stats were barnet 57% gas 43%

i can only think of one..... we didnt concede 3.

so you are admitting you have no idea what to do as you never been in this position before?

human error that you cant stop? so your blaming others than yourself again? why dont you try working on defending in training. its just a suggestion though as the number of goals conceded kind of tells me you dont cover it in training!
no team is opening us up??? WHAT??? ARE YOU FOR REAL????
we have conceded 47 league goals in 24 games. just 1 goal shy of averaging conceding 2 goals a game meaning we have to score 3 to stand a chance in getting anything! we have only done this 3 times all season out of 24 games.
but has shipped in 3 goals in a game 7 times. another stat is we are 2nd worst in the league with goals conceding and northampton has only conceded just 1 more. yet you believe NO team is opening us up??

well we should be looking comfortable as we were playing barnet FFS. we are suppose to be a good side. you spent more money than any other manager in this league this season so we should be a good side.
unfortunately we are not a good side and your talking **** again. how can we look comfortable and a good side when we had 10 shots compared to barnets 9 (5 each on target), 6 corners each and barnet had much more possession. these stats and the score show which team were comfortable and who were the better side. barnet not rovers.

looked better/massive improvement? we just conceded 4 against gillingham, 3 against bottom side plymouth after being 2-0 up and 5 goals against crewe who were one of the lowest leagues scores who scored a quarter of their goals this season against us in 1 game! of course we would look better as how could we look any ****ing worse you twat. scoreline shows not much improvement though hey!

highly motivated today? you should be highly motivated every day. the players need your motivation every single day. not just when you choose.
if we been outplayed you would of been worried? im worried that you think we were not outplayed. can you imagine playing well, the best all season against barnet - a fellow potential relegation club, and still lose, well buckle just told us so. im worried we appparently played well (although stats deny this) and still lost. no disrespect to barnet but we should be beating barnet even if we play crap. we have lost twice to barnet this season. both 2-0. or is this part of your plan to lower our expectations???

the longer this dickhead is in charge, the more likely we will be facing forest green as our derby next season. and 1 league below us would be weston. get use to seeing this table folks http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_conf/conference_table/default.stm

rant over. i can sleep now.

Gary Johnson's last 3 clubs (including City) he walked and left with honour, amicable and with his head held up high,he didn't cling on to the bitter end and blame everything and everybody.

Got to say,he didn't have a lot of success either, except of course getting us and Yeovil promoted...

Barnet hadnt won a Lge 2 match in December - so it's not as if they were on a good run or anything. If we lose to Hereford on the 10th (the AV match is a foregone conclusion I'm affraid!), they will go above us, looking at Barnets fixtures for Jan it looks as if they could also pick up points, D & G's form has improved so they are on the up, Northampton have appointed a new manager so if he gets it right they COULD start to rise, which only leaves Plymouth (who put 3 past us when we were 2 - 0 up!!) potentially below us! I cannot for the life of me see ANY improvement right across the pitch in ANY areas - where will our next point come from? No confidence, no leadership - from the top right through to the bottom, and above all else I see no-one capable of stopping it.
The whole club has been run in a fashion that would make Micky mouse proud to be part of it for the last 3 - 4 years, again, from the very top right through to the lowest parts, making almost anybody who has dealings with Bristol Rovers on any level NOT want them to have any part or anythig to do with them. I'm affraid 10 years or so ago when it looked like doom and gloom time for Rovers at least the fans were together and it was a case of everybody pulling each other through it ... this time I'm not so sure! With the advent of the tinternet and web sites such as this one people are much more inclined to express their views, and this leads to what we are witnessing today - many fans with split thoughts, crass comments etc etc - the list goes on - couple that with a lot of footballers not really interested in playing for a club - just for the money, and it brings us to our present day predicament!
I am sorry to say it but I think the writing is on the wall for our club - we have a manager that NO-ONE likes (not even the team I suspect!), a board that won't act (I can only sumise that this is for financial reasons!), and I can't for the life of me see where our next point - let alone win is coming from!
I will always be a gas head as long as there is a team playing in the blue and white quarters, but I cannot look my wife in the eye and say I'm off to see the Rovers play, knowing it's gonna cost me the best part of £50 and about 8 hours of my weekend, and come back in a foul mood, not just because of the terrible football on display but also because their is no passion or desire anymore, mostly from the bench. You then listen to the top clowns post match interview and think ... "what game were you watching??". When he stated that we were on a run the other month we had an A draw with Southend (we scored with our only effort on goal), a 6 - 1 win in the cup against the mighty Totton, and a home draw with the Swindle - and he said its coming together and improving - WOW if thats a good run what are we now witnessing .... I don't know I'm wafflling, pissed off, angry and sad that it has come to this! At the moment I am a very dejected fan who wants to go to games and look for positives but I'm affraid the life has been sucked out of me by the current state of the club and I won't be going again until there is a big change ... or maybe to our last home game in the football league! God only knows what would happen to the gas if we were to go down! Maybe, just maybe that is what the club needs .......

Well said Rhinestone, we are all feeling the pain. i am checking the website every 5 minutes to see if the <unt has gone yet.

So far the Board hasn't been blamed as they have given Buckle everything he has asked for. It wont be long before evrybody starts singing for Higgs head unless he acts and quick.

Hey Capt, I don't want to rub salt and all, but WsM are pushing for a play off place this season...

    It never rains, eh?

Good luck for the rest of the season.

I almost feel sorry for the Gash.

Almost, then I remember what a bunch of tossers you are and have been since 1982. Any moment of slight problem with City and you bitter lot jump all over it. Even when we almost went out of business your club refused to help. I hope you are relegated. Ta ta

Cheers Delboy - remember what goes around comes around - I always liked the banter with your side, but will be the first to admit that BOTH sets of supporters have so called human beings that need to take a real good look in the mirror at themselves! So please don't paint all us gas heads with the same brush - just as I don't do that with all your supporters!
