I was surprised that Sinclair was there over Dyer. Sinclair doesn't seem to be quite as effective as he was last season but maybe that's down to his performances being overshadowed by Dyer. Sinclair was awesome against Fulham I remember.

But if I was Capello I'd be seriously considering the involvment of Dyer, Sincs, Britton, Graham and even Routlege! It is an honour though to have a selection of our players considered to be even considered for England call ups. I know England to get hyped up a lot and they often disapoint but there's no getting away from the fact that it is one of the giants of International Football and having our players playing with some of Englands finest can only be good for us and our players.

Also seeing Capello there at the Liberty stadium made it sink in how far we've come!

Saw this on some website which I thought was telling re Britton:

"What greater international credentials could a player wish for than the accolade of being officially better than Xavi, the player who more than any other has imprinted Barcelona and Spain's tiki-taka on the football consciousness? Britton can make that claim after it was revealed he possesses the best pass success rate in all of Europe's top five leagues, with his 93.3 per cent beating Xavi into a poor second place. Britton's problem, aside from his age, is that at international level England have shown little inclination to try and play the possession game for decades now. Why try and keep the ball when Lamps or Stevie G can show a bit of passion and smash it over the bar from 30 yards?"

If Coppello is talking about them playing for England be very careful. He told Bent and Henderson that they had to move to bigger clubs to keep their England place and what happens we lose both.
