Tony Fernandes and Lakshmi Mittal received the award for "Investors in Football." There were several other nominees for awards which didn't win. - QPR - Player Development Centre (West London) nominees in the "Football Development project of the year" category. - QPR's Sangi Patel is one of the nominees for "Woman Footballer of the Year." - Sangi Patel (Physio) is also nominated in the "Football behind the scenes award - 'Medical' - Former QPR Player, Zesh Rehman was one of the Nominees for Asian Footballer of the year. Good to see the owners get some recognition but seeing Zesh Rehman get nominated for footballer of the year does put a damper on the quality of the awards!
Well done to them. Glad we have them as owners instead of the goons. We got to realise how lucky we are now. Things will be done properly from the ground up. Too many cowboy owners around (pompy).
