Next year can we just have premier league oposition all the way so we can actually play good football. Today was pathetic, admitedly their goal was a fluke by we had nothing in the final third. Shola needs to **** OFF NOW

Can't place all of the blame on Ameobi for this one - The whole team were ****ing awful, Pardew included.

Cabaye deserves a ban for that kick too. He might not have been looking, but he obviously knew what he was doing when he kicked out. It's not the first time that he's been unnecessarily aggressive either.

complete joke.. i honestly dont see how best can get off so lightly when shola gets all the stick. at least we get ba and cisse back.

also sick of the officials lately we literally have had **** all since we got the dodgy penalty against united. i knew this game was going to be like this soon as i so all the sly kicks and the studs down the back of ben arfas heel went unpunished. this is why i hate matches against lower teams because the footballing world loves this "cup magic" and so they get away with murder.

Cause Best scored a handful of goals back in September and according to the dumbfucks on here that makes him the best in the world or something. Maybe he's not quite as **** as Ameobi, but he's not far off.

    A distraction?

The FA Cup is probably the best league cup in world football. If that's a distraction then you need your head tested <ok>

If Best and the midfield bothered to get on the end of Ameobi's flick ons then it might had been a different story. Ameobi had little service, why are people him making him the scapegoat?

Because some people like to just blame Shola for everything no matter what, if it is not him then it is Obertan or Perch. It does not matter that Best, Simpson and the ref were more to blame for the loss today, still just blame Ameobi.

Why the ref? The biggest mistake he made was not sending off Cabaye. Yeah, their defender did handball, but it wasn't intentional.

He had no options yet again. He gets the ball but nobody has the intelligence to make the runs.
