The Montpellier striker is the latest name linked with us. He has recently broken into the French national team and his scoring record is impressive in the ultra-defensive Ligue 1, he has 15 goals from 20 games this season, a big reason Montpellier are challenging for the title...

Just been confirmed on SSN, they say he's got 17 goals so far this season, I believe Warnock looked at him back at the start of the season...

Good one Sooper, sounds very interesting <ok>

Here's another long shot, was top ten among the strikers in Europe last season when Dortmund secured their first title in years. Been out of the side after he came back from a six month injury, the best striker (Tevez part) we've been linked with.

    Hughes eyes Fulham target
    Queens Park Rangers, 06:17, January 30, 2012

QPR are set to battle it out with Fulham for the services of Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios.

The Paraguay international, who was born in Argentina, has impressed in the Bundesliga when chipping in with 35 goals in 75 appearances and both Mark Hughes and Martin Jol are keen.
Fulham are believed to be further down the line in their attempts to sign the 27-year-old, but the R's can offer more cash and could hijack the deal before Tuesday's deadline.
Liverpool have also been linked with the player but he looks to be heading to London.

No matter what striker we get in, even if it was Tevez (which won't ever happen), the striker would need to see an improved creativity and supply.

Big lad, looks a handful! Great video Sooper!

Great in the air and what a left peg on him! Have to admit this got me very excited, best youtube footage I've seen of any we've been linked with <ok>

Looks to have great awareness and positioning, on top of that a real hunger for goals. A typical Sparky striker i hope ;)

Looks strong and willing to get his head in where it hurts, a massive improvement on Bothroyd

NW had always said he was looking to bring in players from overseas, it looks like Sparky is going after Neils original targets.
