Assuming by this pic it's a done deal? https://p.twimg.com/AkbftdDCIAIIvAQ.jpg If so welcome aboard the bus Mr Sharp, next stop... The Premiership! COYR
I assumed it was a done deal by the article saying it's a done deal and the interview with Billy Sharp saying it's a done deal. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2594184,00.html?utm_source=Twitter
Just heard Motty on 5live getting excited at the prospect of Lambo & Sharp, he mentioned a link with Matty Upson to us too!
I wanted us to sign Upson in the summer! I highly doubt it though. Lambert and Sharp is a mouth-watering prospect but I am equally excited about Lambert and Taddy Lee
I am with Motty on this one. I don't think I've stopped drooling at the prospect of Lambert and Sharp playing up top together since I heard the breaking news at lunch time today!
Bought my ticket for Birmingham. **** watching it on Sky - I want to be there to see Billy score on his debut!
donny fans seem to think he is injury prone. does anybody know if he suffered from niggly or long term ones
He had some ongoing issues with his ankle after being chopped down by a Brighton player early doors, missed for 6 weeks but seems to be fine now. Saints will have looked into it.
I reckon he may feature tomorrow, the reason I say this is because I know a number of people (journalists) said that the fee and personal terms were agreed before he travelled which was before 12 today, I guess I am clutching at straws but as the club have said nothing about his availiabilty I think this could be a tactical move by Mr Adkins to keep Cardiff guessing. Obviously, its a long shot but I am hopeful.
Yep, Donny were totally dominating that game, then brighton started roughing them up, a couple of tackles were outrageous, one that ended Sharpe's day especially. So, not only have we got a great new striker, I've got another reason to hate the dirty brighton. Everyone's happy.
Nasty injury from a nasty tackle earlier int the season and a few other problems, but he's the sort of player who can score the goals to get us promoted, so surely worth the risk. Nigel obviously thinks all is OK and should know as a former physio.
What a signing- with him and Lambert, you will no doubt get promoted. Good Luck next season in the Premier League, and make the South Coast Proud
