NW used to working with idiots (flav and bernie) so he will only have one to deal with his time. Even a deal till end of season would improve LUFC
He snubbed Bates over 20 years ago choosing Notts County ahead of Chelsea, that may count against him as Bates seems to enjoy bearing grudges...
I wish I could remember the Leeds fans last season boasting about their young up and coming manager who was a Leeds legend, while we only had Colin who everyone hated. It's a funny old game.
Be surprised! He seems to like Richmond, London and leeds is still further from Cornwall. Reckon he may wait for an offer in and around London - maybe to bring us up again if needs be!
My sauce says NW is still badly bruised by the QPR rejection plus he's had other offers already. Feeling is it might be too much too soon plus he loves living in London. Sauce says he's enjoying the punditry
Leeds beat us twice last season, the only team to do so, and their fans wouldn't stop banging on about how they were a big club - remember they were going to bring 40,000 or some such to W12 on the last day? And what do we remeber about the last day? Us being confirmed as Champions is all I seem to remember! Leeds are big, no doubt about it, but their desire for success appears to have been overlooked by Bates. They aren't getting out of the Championship without spending or getting someone like Warnock in to sort them out. I wasn't his biggest fan while at QPR but he got us up and did the same for the Blurds so they could do a lot worse that appoint him as the new gaffer. Glad Grayson got the shove, a-hole that he was.
http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/115381-seems-warnock-wont-be-out-of-a-job-for-long I'm coming over all mystic again.
I just wonder whether he'd put up with Bates skinflint ways after being here where he did have a reasonable budget. Although he's done it on a shoestring elsewhere I wonder whether he'd want to be in that position again at what is such a self-proclaimed big club, especially with Bates itchy trigger-finger...
Excluding the defeat last night Grayson had a 50% win rate and got points in around 75% of his games. If NW had that ratio in the Prem he wouldn't have lost his job. How any board can let a manager go with that ratio of wins and draws is beyond me, especially having had some of his best players sold from under him.
