    I agree with you JA, its just the comment by chippy re cloughie and redknapp

    all th eones you have mentioned are doing good jobs, however not as experienced as those two in their time
    That was the point I was making

    My point was that you said "Cloughie and Redknapp [are/were] probably the best English managers". I was naming a few who some (all) people might consider better than Harry ****ing Redknapp.

    I know Revie, Ramsey and Robson managed England.

    Yes - what possible grounds do you have to think Rednapp would be better - a couple of decent seasons with one of the richest clubs in the country and suddenly he's the messiah?
