He's never getting anywhere near that ball, horrible challenge. Typical Stoke 'tackle' really ...

    Hmmmf.

Looking at that vid, it's a ****ing awful tackle, whether he connects fully or not, that is ****ing intent, and the big twat deserved his red.

    End of.

1st time i have seen the tackle, never watched the game today.

Meyler kicks his knee, which is high (not his feet) to try to block the ball.

It probably hurt Meyler, but i dont think it was a sending off, but thats the refs fault, not Meylers.

Meyler is not a cheat, and Huth was unlucky to get sent off for me but this game is all a matter of opinions.

I ask, why is his knee up mate?

No reason, other than he intends to clip his man, IMO.

    Agreed.

Only 5 minutes earlier he chopped Sess down from behind right infront of the linesman, no intent to get ball. Got what he deserved.

I think its just the way he is going through, its not a 2 footed, off the ground challenge, like all the comotion has been about in recent weeks.

I just feel he was unlucky to see red for it, yellow yes, red, nah.

Soon no one will be able to tackle. or be too scared to do it, no one does it anymore.

This is a bloke that commits at least 2 border line red cards a match. I wish the big German fooker would pi$$ off back to Germany or somthing!

He's ****ing filth mate, he's a good defender, but he does have that streak.

I don't believe for a second that Meyler feigned injury, more that either his knees clashed, or that he came down heavy.

We all know Meyler is not that sort.

The more I watch that tackle mate, worse I think it is. He's carrying so much momentum when he lunges in with no chance of getting the ball, surely he's only got one thing on his mind, and that's to wipe Meyler out.

It doesnt matter if he stayed down or not, the ref made his mind up as soon as he done the challenge!

Sorry mate during the game I thought yellow, just like you.
Huth went in at speed with no chance of getting the ball, recklessly, and I'm betting that is what is in the refs report!
Imagine if Meyler hadn't seen him coming !
    Doesn't bare thinking about.

<laugh> Got to laugh at Stoke fans, always a laugh when they get beaten at their own game!

Sunderland got lucky with the sending off though, should of been just a yellow card.

Good to see both NE teams doing well though.

Jesus christ, if Cattermole made that tackle he'd get a season game ban.

Pulis is a C**T anyway. Limited tactical ability if any at all, and he looks like a 40 year old who thinks he's a 12 year old charver in his tracksuit and baseball cap every week.

I also have now had the sickening opportunity to review the huth "incident" where to put no finer point on it our player gets sent off for achieving his aim not to hurt a player in a tackle when he could easily have done if he had wanted and in doing everything possible to do that he gets sent off. He makes no contact with the opponent however the tosser from Sunderland rolls around like he's lost a limb and one of our supposed premier refs mr Atkinson couldnt wait to get his red card out of his pocket.

Football is beginning to sicken me in all respects. I know this doesn't sound like reserved old me but I have just about had enough of it.

They basically kicked the **** out of Spurs, but that's ok.

We're ****ing cheats cos a player who has had 2 years of bad injuries jumped out the way.

They can get ****ed, thanks for the 6 points though, and the money for Whitehead et al.

Yeah Meyler should have left his leg there to be broken to make it a fair red card.:emoticon-0119-puke:
