Apology my arse don't buy the old broken leg story if he was so worried why carry on playing!

Actions like today get teams and dreams relegated and managers lose their jobs no excuse, mind you I will forgive him if he scores a hat trick in the next 10 games he plays.

Ive already said he deserved to go but the rules saying he deserved to go are stupid, especially when a leg breaking tackle is only a yellow.

Good apology, lifted my mood. Whilst today was a six pointer, I agree with Frome that the new look team was sharp and threatening and will give any low to mid table team a run for their money. I want to share his confidence that we will stay up but I am not quite there yet.

His actions just highlight the desperate position we are now in.Not his fault, looking back over the season there are many other factors that have put us in the position we find ourselves in.With out Cisse,s goal at villa we would have lost 2-1..

Good of him to apologise but now he's put himself under all sorts of pressure to perform, which may not be a bad thing. If we go down, he will be one of many scapegoats and this incident highlighted as the turning point.

Every defender and midfielder in the Premier will now be thinking I will rattle Mr Cisse and see how he responds.

Bullsh*t! Never violent conduct what he did, never a red card. It was handbags, Ref should have told him to cool it as Barton and Adel did. No more. Giving red cards for nothing as Cisse's today and Barton's is totally wrecking football, and could well send us down. Christ, aren't players allowed to be human beings and get angry - both Barton and Cisse held back from violence and should have been stongly warned no more. It is the potentially leg breaking tackles that need red cards not natural halfway controlled non violent reaction.

It's done now. Time to move on.

Just goes to show there's no point relying on any one player to save us, or indeed the possibility we will be able to play our strongest eleven for any period of time.

It's all about keeping the whole squad tuned up and hungry to boss games as a unit. Undying determination to win all games - including the big hitters is an absolute must.

Or hes not a pansy. That was not violent, punching kicking and head butting are violent, not grabbing someone.

...grabbing someone´s throat not being a violent offence... Needles to discuss that any further, as you will never understand...

Youre right, its not worth discussing it if you cant tell the difference between the throat and chin.

i would say that was clearly a velcro action between glove and face both men are stuck... Cisse should of punched him straight in the ear until it bled
if it was me JOHNSON ear punch BARTON throat punch and the little ****er trying to crush my kidney which is very violent as well as being naughty.. I would have to blind with a sharp head butt ... it would all be over in 5 seconds and only a three match ban ... no defender would go near me after that
