If- as looks likely- 'Arry ends up taking the job, there is, because of his age, the prospect of him serving a relatively short time in the job! The FA no doubt aware of this will be, if he takes the job, talking about the longer term role for a more permanent candidate. A name I've seen bandied about today is none other than Chelsea Old Boy, Brendan Rodgers--now of Swansea! I think that sounds like a very good choice and nice to know it was here he learned his trade!

Brendon has a booming career ahead of him! There are even rumours of him taking over Spurs if old 'arry leaves.

He'd be a good fit for Spurs and more in their price range than a certain special one.

He'd be a good fit for Chelsea if anyone at the club had vision beyond one year.

My view is that he would fit nicely after "the influential seniors" have hung up their boots! He will be regarded as a junior back room boy by certain seniors , who's names I wont mention! However after 'Arrys done his bit there will be a whole lot a fresh faces for him to mould into World Champs ( Bertrand and Hutchinson among them, I hope)!
