Evra was equally naughty at the end by doing a lap of celebrating, culminating in him jumping pretty close to Suarez. More handbags ensued.

Evra has always been a knob so it is to be expected.

While evra certainly hasn't been mature like one would expect of a club captain... really suarez is just a scumbag. He's obviously just too stupid to understand the implications. She's a disgrace for LFC. And Dalglish or Gerrard need to talk some sense into him. He just got the other team fired up and they beat them, as to be expected.

Sessegnon just stamped on Arteta intentionally, hopefully the FA are consistent and ban him retrospectively.

I've never forgiven Liverpool for their handling of the Heysel mess. It was all well and good wringing their hands at the dreadful Hillsborough disaster but I don't remember the players or the staff going to the hospitals in Belgium and Italy to visit the injured.

And now we have this Suarez affair. The t-shirts flew in the face of the FA's authority and the club should have been slapped down for it. The player was found guilty and may even have even pleaded guilty to the offence and then Dalgleish goes onto extraordinary lengths to support the man.

Dalgliesh is digging himself a deeper and deeper hole by the minute and by each and every protestation that he utters. For once I agree with Sir Alex; the player is a disgrace and should have been shipped out by the club a long time ago.

Suarez could have took the high ground, shook his hand and moved on, he didn't and as a result Evra over reacted at the end.

    Pathetic, it really is.

I know, I heard Gary Neville (I think it was) say they obviously don't get on so that's why he didn't shake his hand, no excuse 219 other players will have to stand their and shake opponents hand they will a do it, yet some of these players will dislike each other.

    Are you an idiot?

Anyway, this is an entertaining and eye opening thread. I like Newcastle personally. Always had time for Pardew as well.

Some of the comments on this thread are a joke. Why are people dredging up Heysel and Hillsborough, and making ill informed comments on it? ****s sake man, Suarez is a little scumball, Evra is a little scum ball, they've had a spat. Can we not just get on with the football now.

The shaking of hands is not obligatory. All the clubs have been asked to partake in it but it is personal choice. Personally I'd just get on with it whoever they are but I have no problem with those who choose not to for any reason. They're there to play football not make friends. Suarez should not have lied to the club and Liverpool by saying he would shake hands, only to try and wind Evra up. Its all got a bit pathetic now. They've apologised both clubs, Liverpool for Suarez instigating it, Evra for following it on. Liverpool will fine him, Man U Evra, and then we can all just move on. They don't like each other, its allowed.

The problem with the whole thing is the original subject, race, and our stupid countries desire to blow any incident involving the word out of all proportion. Which ironically is actually deepening the divide it is trying to close.

My intentions on this thread were
    A. To liven up this board;
    B. To share my distain for the current Liverpool squad and staff, albeit in a slightly tongue in cheek way.
Bringing up Hilsborough/Heysel is stupid and unnecessary, it didn't cross my mind that people would be silly enough to do so.
Whatever Suarez does from here on will be blown completely out of proportion, overshadowing any talent he has in the football pitch. It's a huge shame as he is clearly a very skillful player and I can sympathise as we saw media uproar every time Joey Barton opened his mouth.
It is a shame he couldn't have just shaken Evra's hand and put an end to it all, I think both Suarez and KK apologising is the right thing to do as I am sick of hearing about it already!

Liverpool wouldn't be so bad if they got rid of Suarez. I don't really think they have any dis-likeable players at their club apart from him.

Now I'm no Liverpool hater Chappaz, I quite liek them, but Craig Bellamy? I assume you overlooked this cretinous little **** bag when you made that comment. Particularly after his comments about our clubs and fans.

This should be entertaining. Which bit is ill informed? Lets look at the comments made:

    - I said she was a drug fiend - she has been since the 90's. Coke and prescription drugs. If you think otherwise I can point you in the direction of any number of interviews where she bared all her demons.
    - 18 yr old daughter who has barely seen her mother sober - she does have a daughter who is 18 and she has barely seen her mother not on drugs in her lifetime. Got into drugs before she had her and has never managed to give it up.
    - poor example of a parent - see above!
    - I said she was a tragic mess - how else do you describe someone with that talent, a daughter but chose of her own free will to get high and eventually waste the life she had.
    - Lacked self respect - have you seen the interviews she has done while high over the years? Embarrassing. Dirty crack habit for a number of years.
    - car crash waiting to happen since the 90's - see above!

So come on then smart arse, where is the ill informed bit? That all seems pretty accurate to me. Now **** off with your over sensitive bollocks. She was a waste of space and good oxygen.

I don't think it's sensitive too talk about Whitney Houston that way. Whilst people may think certain things of her , others really like her and used to look up to her for whatever reasons so it's not really right to rant against her just days after her passing away.

Bit double standards after the whole Gary Speed saga with GC etc.

Think it's about time we closed this thread , it's not like we're on the topic anymore are we.
