I suppose that when they can't give you an educated response they resort to childich behaviour.

I don't know if anyone heard the chap on Total Sport last night who was some kind of financial analyst specialising in football clubs. Anyway, he seemed to know his stuff. In his view, Ashley was putting the club in a reasonable order with a view to finding a buyer, in his view before the end of the year. He added that Ashley was good at that sort of thing.

To return to the original post, Ashley is without question the worst owner or chairman that Newcastle have ever had. He is quite a bizarre individual and you never know what hare-brained scheme he's going to come up with next to alienate more fans. I can only reiterate what Kevin Keegan said that there will never be any stability at SJP as long as he and Llambias are there.

I don't accept that he found 'hidden debt' after he took over the club. If there was such debt to the degree that has been alleged the former chairman would have been liable to criminal proceedings. There was never any chance in reality that Newcastle would go the same way as Plymouth and Portsmouth.

Also I don't accept that he has simply been outmanoevred or has been badly advised. He took over that football club with a view to making an quick profit and got a rude shock when he found himself in a situation that he couldn't cope with. He responded by lying and blustering.

Many of us have total antagonism and distrust for MA (which may never change) caused by the appauling treatment of a hero and inspiration to many of us, Kevin Keegan.

I for one will never readily believe any soundbites his propaganda machine turns out. He will not actually address us, or debate with us, or listen to us. He won't even admit to knowing or even caring about anything that's on our minds. That's how he treats his workers and customers. We are no more value to him than just objects to get the tills chinging.

Even the other day, when our accounts were revealed, I saw little in the way of praise or thanks to supporters for our loyalty in the Championship season from Llambias - he chose only to acknowledge MA, and him only for the financial results.

Re the first post, I don't believe for a second that we may have become the next Portsmouth or Crystal Palace etc. Our club's income has for many years been on a different scale to all the clubs mentioned, except for a very brief period from Leeds. When you have a money generating business, with little competition for customers' money, few entrepreneurs with capital would not try to grab and exploit it. And even Portsmouth, who overspent on a ridiculous scale, find themselves safe and sound in the Championship having had about 90% of their debts just written off! (not that I find that outcome anything but criminal).

Ok, MA bought the club, and due to his stupidity (the great financial dood he is) got an immediate £100m bill to pay for the stadium. But no problem, he's got the money to call it debt, which presently stands at around £140m that he's owed. He sells some club assets, including the catering, he sells a stack of players, and up to date has brought few Premiership quality players into the club. Tiote being the exception. If you think we have loads of Premiership quality players then look at the table - that's how good we are.

What I can't find in the accounts are the details of monies received for Given, Milner, Martins, Duff, Bassong and N'Zogbia. (should that lot add up to about £45m?) I'm not skilled at looking at accounts though. Can anyone tell me if those details of club income are there to see? Is the pay of the staff broken down so we can see what is creamed off for Llambias and MA? You can tell how cinical I am towards his behavior in business!

What we all must admit that Mike Ashley has done for the good of our club is change the way we were the fool in the transfer market, which bought high cost duds every year that came. That terrible practice has ceased. It's down to debate to whether or not we'd have actually gone bust if he didn't step in, but as I say, money making machines with massive debt don't usually go bust - see Liverpool, £350m and Manchester United, £750m debt.

I'll admit that I haven't been to a home game since MA's no-spend policy of the summer came into force.

I have less respect for MA now, after the way he treated Chris Hughton and brought in one of his out of work gambling pals, who was less experieced in the Premiership as far as I can see.

I predict that most if not all of the £35m received recently will not be spent on players - though to be honest, I wouldn't judge Alan Pardew with the credit to know how to spend any of it, other than on decent cars.

The Mike Ashley way of doing things might be the best thing to happen to this club in years - I remember the days when we sold any player who would command a decent fee. I remember Gascoigne Beardsley and Waddle etc all going.

Maybe Ashley will be the 2nd McKeag though, so sell high and buy cheap.

This "Ashley hater" has good reason to be suspicious - I've been let down by false dawns too many times - though with Ashley I can't see any silver lining - just bad feeling.

Funny, I bet you thought you should have beaten us? On paper we should have beaten those teams, but poor tactics and poor mentality from players meant that we didn't, every team in the country says similar things, I bet when we beat Arsenal 1-0 their fans were saying they should have beaten us. The delusion card is getting old! Delusion is your lot thinking you broke our hearts when Gyan made it 1-1!

no team has a devine right to beat another because obviously you need to earn that right during the game.
However a fan of one team believing their team should be beat another is not a form of delusion.
