Paul Konchesky just re tweeted this. They are refering to Kennedy aswell @Stef30nix: @K1elos Pearson bought one of them to the club, I guess that he will get rid another Sven signing, best left back in championship @konch3 Judging by that i think he knows he going
And who knows how much of an influence the incident between Konchesky and the City fan at Millwall has on Konch going. I just think its an attemp by Nigel to get the wage bill down
I'll second that I work with baggies fans and they said he has been pushed out by Ridgewell, but they never said he had been released yet?
Shorey was playing for England a few years back and was part of a very successful Reading team Shorey contract has expired at West Brom and he has been released along with another left back. I forgot his name. That player who came through our academy, thought he was too big for us and likes beating up women.
According to the mercury we are interested in Shorey but no talks have taken place yet It also says we want to bring him in as competition to Konchesky not to replace him. I would be delighted with that but I don't want to lose Konchesky http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/Leicester-City-Nicky-Shorey/story-16217852-detail/story.html
It's all about opinions of course ... but for me Konchesky is a liability against better players .. and if our ambition is the Premiership he will get taken apart there and resort to fouling in dangerous areas ... harsh but true .. and I suspect Nigel is thinking that way.
Its alright going Konchesky isnt good enough against better players. Not many of them are. Chelsea proved that with only Neil Danns having a good gane that day But we will cross that bridge when we get to it
What makes you think that? He played for years at that level and performed more than adequately. I think he was one of the few players last season that looked capable of stepping up should we reach the PL.
Not fussed if Konchesky goes. I'd rather we didn't have players with bad attitudes. Only so long before he falls out with someone. I think he's a decent player but not outstanding, and certainly not a worthy trade-off for possible frictions in the camp.
That's the obvious exception but bar one short dodgy spell there he's always equipped himself well in the PL.
Konchesky proved at Charlton, West Ham and Fulham he is prem standard. Weather he is too old now is the only doubt people could have about him playing in the prem
