Sell Tiote for 20 million and buy him for 3 ? yes that will be about the size of it.

Wouldn't mind him as back up but would be underwhelmed if he was going to try and fill Tiotes boots.

Tiote wouldn't allow anyone to touch his boots.

If cheap enough he'd make a decent squad player.

Tiote's boots are filled with broken glass and salt, he say it makes them 'grippier'.

Nonsense - Tiote doesn't have boots! He's grown extra bones that act as studs and his feet are tattood to resemble boots!

Indeed, lets hope we are just filling out the squad following the departure of Guthrie and Smith. Those two will have freed up 80-90k in wages so we have a bit of surplus wage funds to play with. The new lad won't be on much and adding Mulumbu in would still come under that figure.

Think he is an average player, however purchasing him (if i was one of you) i would hope is backup to tiote, not a replacement...i believe they play similar roles in teams

If anything, it will be to play alongside him as Gutierrez isn't a holding mid.

    Sort of a:

    Tiote - Mulumbu

The amount of times Tiote was injured/suspended last season it would of been good to have another DM to take his place. Always got caught out when he wasn't playing.

Jonas isn't a natural holding mid, but he has good defensive qualities, and has good ball control, skill and attacking qualities.

The only think he can't really do that well is cross. I think the fact that he scored like 4 goals this season from a DM position is very impressive.

We only have one natural defensive mid, we could use another and Guthrie has just left.

Don't worry mate, there's no way we'd replace Tiote with Mulumbu, we'd go for someone far better.
