Jeez you're starting to sound like the Jacks, one defeat and suicide beckons lol, we're 3 matches in with new players trying to gel, give them a chance ffs, look at Reading last year, took them a time to start moving up. I'm sure Bellars will be having an input into how we set up  and I hope it's not to long before we see young Harris given his chance
Talking of the Jacks I have to say I was seriously impressed with them on Saturday, They're not my team, never will be but they're a Welsh team and part of me couldn't help feel a little pride.

Put a bit of money on Cardiff having the longest streak without a loss before the seasons over Sussex , I could think of worst bets .

its a long and a dusty road,a hard and a heavy load and the folks i meet aint always kind, some are bad some are good some have done the best they could and some have tried 2ease my troubled mind.....but i cant help but wonder where im bound where im bound,i cant help but wonder where im bound.

all in all i think some should take a look at wiki and see the meaning of the words "football FAN"

    Well said Sussex.

Looks like many people couldn't even spell patience let alone know what it means.

Mind you its not just our fans who are expecting immediate results. I was away at the weekend and went to see Bournemouth v. Preston - not a pretty game with the Cherries trying to play football and Preston...........once cloggers always cloggers. Anyway, Bournemouth go down to 10 but get the lead second half and dominate for 20 minutes or so. Preston bring on a sub - about 6 ft 2 ins tall, all bone and muscle - the ball then spends most of the time in the air in the Bournemouth half and Preston equalise with a header from the sub. Fairly even after that and finishes a 1 - 1 draw. Not bad for Bournemouth I thought having played about 65 minutes with 10 men and could have won. However, their fans then proceed to slaughter their manager on various sites - 3 games, 3 draws. Some people need to get a life and look at the bigger picture.

Bournemouth have a very good left sided midfield player, Marc Pugh, who was a class above everyone else on the pitch. Definitely worth a look as I don't think he has signed a new contract yet this season.

One other point, there was one person in the Bournemouth ground who has probably seen City play more than me in the last 5 years or so, our old friend Pistol Peter Ridsdale. He was sat about 10 yards from me. As I walked past him I mumbled "season ticket scam" but he didn't bite.

Yes it hurts to lose so badly to your closest geographic rivals in the division but surely MM and the team can learn from this. Also, Bellers and Turner to return on Sunday plus maybe a cameo appearnace from Kimbo - may be too early for him to start after travelling half way around the world twice in a couple of weeks.

I was concerned when I heard Turner wasn't playing as he and Hudson have developed such a strong partnership. I didn't expect Hudson and Connolly to gel quickly as that takes time.

After such a bad day at the office then next Sunday is a great time to bounce back against a Wolves side which has had its heart ripped out in losing Kightley, Fletcher and Ward. They have money in the bank and will probably sign 2 or 3 next week but can't expect all of them to slot in immediately.

Personally, I always preferred a steady rather than spectacular start to the season. Stay in touch with the pack at the front and then accelerate ahead after Christmas. Not the way we normally do things I know but it worked for Reading last year and has done the same for others in previous years.

football must be the only business where if they are doing a crap job then they say 'i need more time to get it right' now i'm not saying that mackay is doing badly just that i think good players should be able to do well if they have a good pre season behind them...

the spine of the team is almost the same as last year so its not a complete overhaul were talking about ...

look at martin oneill when he went to sunderland and turned things round and got them playing from day 1 for example..

Swamp there are 46 games in a season and some people are advocating doom and gloom after only 3. Yes we are down after Saturday's stuffing but when down the only way is up and with Bellers, Turner and maybe Kimbo to come in we have every opportu nity of getting back on the right track v. Wolves. <ok>

Well chaps. I would rather Robbie Williams singing 'Let me entertain you' every home game, as we arent getting any entertainment on the pitch are we ? Look at the back end of last season and the begining of this season and that will back this up. Something needs to change.

I said a lot of things in the aftermath, rash comments, which I should have thought about more... Ultimately whether we are a radio listener or live update reader due to location (good ol Cornwall) or regular, we're all passionate about this club and mine got the better of me.

Do I believe we'll get promoted? Yes I do. I believe Malkys the man to do it as well, and this is the squad that we've longed for for a few seasons... Onwards and upwards, at least we know we'll still have a club at season end unlike a few recently!

Guys, why the doom and gloom? Your only going into the fourth game of a 46 game season, and it's not like you've lost three games. You'll soon start winning your games, and you'll fly up the table, I have no doubt about that.

Best solution, get to the games, and shout for the team. Negative vibes inside a stadium wash onto the players. Be positive, and the points will come.

It's where you are after the last 3 games that counts not the first three.

Good points Chico - especially how a negative attitude in the ground impacts on the players.

As fans that is something we should take on board because, agree with me or not, our ground has become very quiet compared to the noise put out at other grounds. We have the power to be the 12th player and lift those on the pitch. We can also create an atmosphere equivalent to being down to 10 men. Which would we and the team prefer?

I can't comment on your ground being quiet but noise definitely lifts the players.

The last 5 minutes of the first half of our game V West Ham is a good example. They were 2-0 down, and the Hammers were pressing for a goal. The fans realized that they were on top and shouted, and shouted and shouted. Those 5 minutes were an onslaught as their players were picking up the positive vibes coming from the fans.

The 12th man is a very important role in this game, and although we won last night, the 12th man was definitely missing, and the players performance showed that.

    good points jump.

havent been to the CCS this season because of holidays but when i watched the huddersfield game i was expecting lots of negativity etc towards the kit... what was the atmosphere like there?

i dont think its just the results that have fuelled doom and gloom but the performances, now i've only watched one game from 3 and that was on tv..... and that was a poor match even though we snatched it....

i agree we should see how things are when we get all our quality players in.....

Didn't play at Bristol due to injury, should be back for Wolves plus Turner and maybe even Kimbo. Has your Korean guy signed from Celtic yet? I think it will be good for the 2 of them (and both teams) to be playing/living in relative close proximity as they won't feel quite so isolated and alone.

Swamp - the atmosphere was okay but not great for Huddersfield - no obvious kit protests. However, the team were not playing well, got pushed back after 20 minutes of keep ball with no cutting edge and Huddersfield had the best chances - good job Marshy was on form. As a result of their domination on the pitch the crowd was not very noisy although the roof came off when we scored - more from relief than anything else I guess. There were only about 4/500 from Huddersfield for a Friday night game shown live on Sky. I hope Wolves bring their full allocation of 1800/2000 as that will ensure a better atmosphere.

Thought I hadn't heard much of him tbh.

Ki had his debut last night. Didn't have a spectacular game, but neither did any of our guys but showed that he will do the job for us. Don't think we'll be missing Allen anyhow.
