This one isn't going away, is it? The board need to come out and say something. They would have to be absolutely nuts to sack him or to let him leave. OK, yes, I can see the weakness in that arguement knowing our history!

The part about transfer funds of only £10 million and a wage ceiling of £15k I do believe. I have kept saying that there won't be alot spent. Younger hungry players from the top of the championship is the way we will go. Can we now please drop the Scott Parker (and players of his like) nonsense?

I've got a bad feeling about this.
I think Bernie wants out and wants to do so with a profit, which means he is not going to invest in the team for next season as we wish.
We could drop back down quickly without the investment we need. Mr Mittal may be needed for the future to keep us in the premier

If there's any truth in these rumours we should know today, as that's when this alleged showdown meeting is supposed to take place, probably in the pub these useless journos use!

Just how many times do the board have to announce that Warnock is staying? Because so far they've said it 3 times, yet people still keep posting the crap that papers publish.

    It IS The Daily Mail.....

Warnock is staying (something that the DM forgot to say), I doubt that Flav has the readies to buy out Bernie (something else the DM forgot to say), also the Mittals have an option to buy Bernie's shares and a stated interest in doing so (something else the DM forgot to say)....

This is nothing other than lazy journalism.

I though the "big meeting" was today (Thursday) and NOT yesterday (Wednesday). Is John Edwards a clairvoyant?

What I can't seem to get my head around Northolt is this, 15yrs of crap from all levels at the club, from the top down to the grass!
Now all of a sudden, when we reach the heights that all R's fans dreamt of and have a half sensible gaffa and back-room staff, we want
to start sinking the ship, WHY? If Warnock is moved on then we lose Adel, unless they already know that Adel will move on in the summer <cry>

The only way warnock will leave is if the mittals sell up I don't think that will happen.

What a lazy bastard article that is...

He actually says Neil Warnocks future at the club is uncertain!!! That's the thing about the future, it is always uncertain, the only thing that is certain is the past. Tosser.

Isn't it also very odd to prophesize that the club is going to replace Warnock with a new manager, whilst providing his replacement with basically very little in terms of spending power or wages and potentially having to sell our star player.

I love terms like 'Sportsmail understands that...', 'QPR board looks set to...', 'They appear likely to' - its all meaningless mumbo jumbo,

'The meeting took place against a back drop of growing fear' (WTF is that!),

'Westham have been alerted to' , really by whom and how? Was it by this article...

'Warnock has had to battle constant claims the QPR are looking to bring in a new manager' - For ****s sake the journo is now actually writing an article about his own claims.

Lazy Bastard, i hope his editor bans him from the pub for a day, and makes him write an article with a least one fact in it.

Jeez but there are some gullible people here.....

This all comes from the comment by Warnock after the game at Watford, when a reporter asked him whether he would be the manager next season. His response was that his job was 'as secure as any manager's job' and that 'in this job you plan for six weeks away, not six years'.

Whilst this in no way meant that he was about to leave or be replaced, the papers (given our history a year or so ago) leapt to the wrong conclusions and started linking every manager with our club. Neil then said he's going nowhere. Amit said that he's going nowhere. But that doesn't make for a juicy story, and so we read of Lippi, Ranieri, and the rest.

One slightly unguarded comment was completely misinterpreted, that's all.

    So chill!

I read the first couple of lines. As soon as it said 'Sportsmail understands...' you know they know **** all. There's not an awful lot to fill the sports pages right now especially in a pile of **** like the Daily Mail so you get crap like this to get people talking. It's a load of bollocks.

    Verbal reasoning test

    1. Limited investment or substantial investment.
    2. Lippi, Ranieri, Jol, Warnock.

Connect one from 1 to any from 2. Which of these are incongruent?

Answer: Limited investment and Lippi, Ranieri and Jol.

Pretty straight forward, so why speculate otherwise?

    Two words: Flavio Briatore

He's been at this for the last four years now and even had a crack at Warnock during the season when we were top of the league by suggesting Lippi. I thought we'd seen the last of this evil little man last year when he stepped down as chairman. No such luck.
This story may well be rubbish but as long as the perma-tanned megalomaniac remains at the club there will be suspicions of interference.

You're having a laugh. 15 point deduction! Plenty of smoke without fire where we are concerned.

I still wish it would go away though.
