    I heard on Talksport that Carlton Cole is linked to Newcastle but West Ham value him at £9million, perhaps only Mike Ashley is dumb enough to pay that!

    That said £4.1million for Graham would be a snip...

    Why would it not show commitment from us???? Why the hell would we want to pay 4.1 million for a striker with no premiership experience, or should be try and buy the league at the risk of bankrupting the club.

    No way should we pay 4.1 million for Graham when we could get Bothroyd for nothing!

    Bothroyd will have clubs willing to pay over the top wages to sign him as he is on a free. I cannot see us signing him at all.
    As for Carlton Cole at £9 mill, I would rather sign a sack of coal.

    i Agree Graham is not worth 4.1 mill and ive heard from a hammers mate that Jones is off to the hammers with Boothroyd going as well

    Why the **** would Bothroyd exchange premier league football to work with a complete twat and play in a club who for some weird reason I see going into administration this year who play in the championship.

    Bothroyd will go where he can agree best terms, that's not going to be QPR because the weekly wage he can command would upset the apple cart in a major way.
    If Neil really fancied Graham it's a shame we didn't start with a realistic offer

    Again, the offer for Graham was made public indicating that NW was serious about doing a deal. All those that trip out "in Warnock we trust" on a regular basis should take note. If the gaffer wants him as a Prem player that should presumably be good enough for us. The initial offer was never going to be enough TBH and I still think he will be back in assuming no one else has stepped in as rumoured here.
