Football is a confidence game. Do we agree?
Our team hasn't had confidence all season. The only time that we have had a glimpse of confidence was first half against Villa, when we were 1-0 up. Harry was the manager, tactics were spot on, and it was all dandy. He could not have been responsible for the drastic change in confidence when they equalised. It has been like that ever since we lost that game.
He cannot be responsible for players dropping their heads once we start well and then individual errors cost the whole team.
It happens in the majority of our games, and that's why I am not going to blame Harry until (if) things are poor next season.
I can't see how any of our team can hold their heads up and pick themselves up when we normally start so well every week only for one ****er (normally Hill or Bosingwa) ****ing up and costing us a goal.
Tactically I don't think we look too bad, sure it wasn't spot on but my God I really do not think he was expecting Bosingwa to **** up twice, and he took him off as soon as he could.
I'm remaining patient until next season, give him 5 games in the Championship and from experience we should know what it'll be like.

It's not Harry's team and the January signings were a gamble at fire-fighting a hopeless position. There are clearly several players who have sabotaged any chance of us launching an escape and we all know who they are, if we don't get shot of all of them they'll infect the new players coming in and we'll be f*cked next season as well.

Harry is shrewd enough to have worked this out and I'm sure we'll see a new team in August that will be playing with a bit more verve and resemble the passing sides Harry is better known for...

Well, the last five or six matches have been typical example of already relegated team so i wont be judging arry as badly than some others on this site. We lost this relegation battle at villa park where we played best football we had played whole season on the first half. Then, what happened during the half time its probably arrys fault. After that match we were as good as relegated and the moral of some players have been disgrace. Surely arry could have done much better but next season could be different story with some better motivated players. Anyway, can you name any good replacement for arry?

    Anyone but Cotterill!

Karl Robinson from MK is a good shout. Rs fan too. Just look at what Poyet has done to Brighton and Zola to Watford.

Bosingwa's confidence drained very quickly and I have to agree with Flyer that its had gone too far ... He never recovered from his storming off episode and did himself no favours

The crowd were at him and yes I did cheer him on after the pen ... No idea if he was guilty but I would suggest that Green also was slow to react

    I would blame them both

Flyer and I both thought how crazy it was at half time to see our subs that weren't going to be involved playing beach football on the pitch ... No Newcastle subs and it wasn't cludeo that Fabio and Derry weren't out there

I fully expect that the entire Newcastle team and subs were having what you do at half time ... A bloody team talk

Adel Taarabt had 10 minutes but once on the comedy of a game at least looked like we may string a few passes together and maybe get a chance.

Remy seems to run across the park marking or following the defender

Lowest ebb as a QPR fan IMO as I stand that these players at other clubs will more than likely shine and that includes Bosingwa who had a mare but was nice to see support from Onunha and Cisse at one point

If Harold thinks lumping the ball up to Zamora is football then he is worse than Hughes IMO ... 15/16k people knew where each ball was going from us ... Well except from Greens kicks ... There after 45 seconds and looking at Zamora he in fact kicked it straight out

The standard of football today was dreadful from both teams

Pretty much agree with that. Certainly was a poor tactical game from us today.

Good to meet you today as well.

Ruined indeed. For all the big names, never seen a Rangers team so bad as what we've had to put up with this season.

Ned, Clint and Sean aside, ain't one of them worth a light in this set-up. Build a balanced, respectful squad around the three mentioned next year and we might avoid the drop. Draft some of them youngsters in and get some real Rs blood pumping through our veins again. So what if they lack experience. Andrade looked a useful left winger at Wigan last season. Harriman, Suk Young, Ehmer, Magri, Doughty. What about Ballanta?

Then (with Flyer and DT in charge!) add a few quality signings, including a couple of hungry strikers mixed in with several of the dregs from this lot, cry 'havoc' and let slip the dogs of hope. Might be the recipe for a forward thinking Championship side looking to progress again.

I think his point is that the team is not good enough atm but with his signings will be able to push for promotion. I personally have no doubt redknapp is right for the job....who better would want to come???

To be fair i think you have a very good team with some good players. in every match i have watched you can see some excellent individual skill being displayed but no actual team work together...That points straight to the manager and the way he trains and coaches the team....There is no actual game strategy that the team seems to follow its all individual play that wont win games.....Next season qpr will be the team everyone will want to beat so Harry had better get his act together and change his playing style and do his homework or qpr will have a difficult season.....If it was my team then i would want to forget this season and start afresh with the same players but younger and more hungry manager who wants to make a name for himself.....new coaches also.....I think that will happen as harry cant keep picking up his pay cheque for how he has done this season....he should do the decent thing and resign for the good of the club and not his bank accounts....

Great to meet you today mate. You certainly lived up to the expectation. You're a real character and very funny. My girls were even asking who you were as they thought you were so nice and friendly. I look forward to next season for some more of the same. Flyer and DT, The New Management team. It's got something about it. The pre and post match interviews would be entertaining.

Great to meet you all at last lads really enjoyed it and hope we all get to meet up a lot more often ... nice boozer that as well chief !

As for Harold on MOTD2 ... disgraceful to hear that from any manager and I agree with DaiswanHuwsmate that we have played some great football this season under Hughes and Harold but I believe now that Harold is deflecting as much as of the blame that he can from his door as possible. How that instils any confidence to any player i know not? ... Green should never have rolled that ball out there he has two on him yet Bosingwa was lynched... He is an excellent player ... we have some excellent players IMO ... how has Harold helped? blaming them as he has? ... IMO you give this squad to a younger manager then they would get 500% more. Harold is a complete idiot IMO .. Taarabt at 80 mins FFS ... Newcastle were dreadful and went down to 10 only then does he think of Taarabt ... Harold could break the back of this club completely with his experimental new team IMO

I agree, I haven't liked the way Arry has talked down our team since he arrived. How was anything ever going to improve using those management skills? How Hoilett ever gets a game in front of Taarabt is beyond me, I really despair, I really do. And I wished he would stop addressing our club in the third person.

Not a single word accepting any responsibility for himself or his 'team' since he arrived. He wants to sell a lot of these players, but talks them (and their value) down at every opportunity. He reckons the team don't have 'quality'. They also don't have organisation, purpose, tactics, energy, spirit, all things that coaching and man management are meant to deliver.

Every time he opens his mouth for the journos I cringe. We'll make no progress under this bloke - if we're lucky mid table next year, no defined style or approach to our game, only 'journeymen' pros signed, no interest from the football side in developing youth, scouting etc. Retire you old fool, you're only 5 years younger than Ferguson and you're not 5% the manager he is.......oops, sorry, forgot you have a property company which owes £5m, so the pension plan isn't quite sorted yet.

harry does know his football but the problem is that the game has moved on in recent years, gone are the days of individual skill where one player can win a game, Its more team work and accurate passing these days and harry seems to be stuck in a time warp of sod the passing and lump the ball forward in the hope someone scores....ok sometimes they will score but as you have found out this season the opposition will bide their time with neat passing and accurate passing that the team is organised and will score more goals....Its easy today to stop individual play but is difficult to stop a team working together with on the floor passing.....of course you wont win every game that way but it gives you a better chance if you can stop the opposition getting the ball.........good debate by the way...

My only hope is that Moyes leaving Everton sets off a chain reaction which leaves one of the lower Prem teams going after Harold. Unlikely, but perhaps McKay to Everton (they like Scots) and Harold to Cardiff, unless its too long a drive for him.

Yesterday was a disgrace mate, - after the home games against Southampton, Liverpool and Stoke I didn't think we could sink any lower. But I was wrong.

Agreed ............ it is the relevant players who choose to do little to help the cause.
I trust Harry & TF will, for everyone's sake, move them on quickly. They are like a cancer to our club.
The longer they stay, the more it will spread. The close of season can't come quick enough.
