Excuse me, where has all this investment suddenly come from? According to the YEP the club are still looking for it and may have to sell two players so that you can get six in. Doesn't sound like you should be getting too excited.
You mean the YEP report from last week... Not really sure how many times I have to say "we've just spent £1 million on a player" before people understand that if we hadn't had investment, we wouldn't have been able to do that. All this has happened over the last weekend. Rumours are that £4.2 million has been made available to Brian McDermott, and that more is on its way, presumably to buy back Elland Road and Thorpe Arch.
No, keep up. From yesterday's paper. "The club are still looking for new investment and we have just got to hope that comes in, so that Brian can get there in terms of bringing in his targets to make a worthwhile challenge."
Perhaps you should mention this to your manager - this quote from him today seems to suggest that he doesn't know what you claim to know: "After the club pulled out the stops to sign Murphy, McDermott admits that departures both to balance the books and his squad could be a possibility – with central midfield looking particularly top-heavy following the player’s arrival. He added: “I have to do the best I can to create the best balanced squad we can. “You (also) have to remember the finances of the club as well to try and balance things in the best way you can.”
Well done Frenchie and BB, looks like that's finally shut him up! Or maybe it was just past his bedtime?
Or maybe since Sam Byram isn't a midfielder we still won't be getting rid of him. Reality is that our squad is a little too big for the time being, to be sustainable. And Warnock signed a lot of crap.
"Reality is that our squad is a little too big for the time being, to be sustainable". But I thought you were a BIG club - surely you should have a BIG squad so you can continue with your BIG illusions
It's very easy to see why football fans have a reputation as simpletons, when reading MarkoLUFC's opinions and responses. To be fair, he actually comes across very well for someone who supports Leeds.
Yeah sorry - but I will stick to the point - Leeds may have been a BIG club once - but no longer in my view
