FM 2011 can piss right off

I must have started 3 or 4 new games in the past few weeks, signing different players on each game and trying different formations and tactics. Despite this I continually do ****. Getting soundly beaten by the likes of West Brom, Bolton, Wolves etc, barely registering a shot in goal or on target and constant comments saying "if they tried to shoot rather than walk the ball into the net they might be more succesfull" - well I set most players to try long shots often, direct passing etc and it doesn't make a blind bit of difference. Pile of ****e. I swear, the whole time I've had the game I've had one decent run where I finished 7th - only to do **** the following season. Bloody frustrating. I'm going to the gym in a bit to de-stress!

Football Manager on the iPod Touch pisses me off so much. I do absolutely brilliantly in the first season, but the team is ALWAYS **** in the second season for no reason whatsoever. No matter what I change or who I buy, it makes no difference. Eventually I end up getting sacked.

 

That game annoys me.

 

Really? i found it too easy on the Ipod. Was only Shrewsbury and kept getting Messi quality players coming through the youth system. Yet to not win the league. PC version is much better though

On my iphone i took Boro from the championship into the prem in 1st season. 2nd season i got them in the CL. 3rd Season i won the league undefeated and lost the CL Final.

It might sound like b******t but i promise its true

Never had any problems on the older ones - just bloody annoying that nothing you do seems to make any difference. I've deleted all my old saves.

 

I find iPod really easy, about fifteen seasons in, and winning everything, Newcastle from start, now Newcastle and England manager, won euro championships with england, you just have to stick with it
Oh, and took Gateshead to the Champions league and won

My buys :

Christian Benitez - 1.3m(Absolute bargain). Scored 21 in 31 in his debut season. He's currently scored 10 in 14 in my current season(2011/2012).
Martin Zeman - 1.1m(bargain) although injury-prone, he's good cover for Guti.
Oscar Wendt - 1m(bargain). Very good cover/competition for Enrique.
Gabriel Torje - 3.7m(potential to be a leading star in the PL). Very good all-round RM/RW.
Vincent Enyeama - 230k(one of the best bargains on the game). My current first choice keeper.
Vaclav Kadlec - 1m(MUST BUY).
Dennis Appiah - 1.5m(bargain). Potentially can become a leading PL RB.
Gary Cahill - 5.5m(very good buy). Better than Saylor and perfect partner for Colo. Constant threat at set-pieces.
Fraser Fyvie - 2m(future replacement for Barton).
Harry Kewell - 800k(flop). I only bought him because of his versatility and technical ability. I'll just let his contract run out at the end of the season(2011/2012).

How?! I change NOTHING from the 1st season to the 2nd, but it's the second where I start losing all my matches for no reason. Changing formations, changing players and improving morale makes zero difference.

On FM 09, I brought Juventus from near the bottom of Serie A to the CHampions League final in 3 years!

ON Fm 08 Handheld, I got Grays from BSP to Premier League!

 

How do you take in-screen pics again? Oh and in my 2011/12 season I bought James Rodriguez from Porto for 6.5m! quality player.
