I think this will be 2-2. We will be tired after Swansea.

Might do Baldy's score in reverse. 10/1 seems quite good odds.

At least 12:45 at Old Trafford isn't as bad as 12:45 at WHL, don't have to set off till 7:30 for this one.

I have a feeling Moyes is starting to get things right.

He'll be out of a job if he doesn't get them right soon.

If Pards makes changes on Tuesday then I'll go for a 2-1 defeat with good account given. If not then I'll go for a 3-0 defeat.

A pathetic 2nd half showing as we gas and struggle to cope with their energy levels. A streaker with a massive wanger brushing up to Cabaye in an aggressive manner resulting in a winter depression. Andy Woodman going to sit among the Man U coaching staff to hide his embarrassment at his involvement with us. And Joe coming down from the stands at around 63mins to offer some pearls of wisdom and Alan a can of Kestrel Super Strength.

Can't see us getting anything, though if Rooney gets booked on Wednesday he's banned, which may give us a chance especially if Van Persie's out.

I'd be tempted by a draw or win here. I know, I know, but I rate our chances at OT better than our chances at Swansea, although I remain optimistic for that an'all.

Nice to feel good for the club, but let me explain re: Man U - their weakest area, beyond doubt, is central midfield. Cleverley? Not for me. Jones? Not even a central midfielder. By contrast, our strength is across the middle where we have discipline (Tiote), pace (Gouff), guile (Cabs) and power (Sissoko). Ameobi usually steps up against quality opposition and Remy remains that classy touch of the unknown. Debuchy is in the form of his life, as is Willo, Santon is more than capable and Colo's a wily character. We go into the game as underdogs, Utd will be expected to take the game to us - which often works in our favour - and it's probably the weakest Utd side in years. They're unbeaten, but have not really played well all season and owe the scraps of decent football they have served up to one man and one man alone....now, don't get me wrong, Wayne Rooney can by all accounts win games on his own - still an underrated talent, in my book. But his favourite position is occupied by another big game player, Cheick Tiote. We have a sniff in this particular match and I'm really looking forward to it. I think it'll be a good, well matched game.

(as a disclaimer, I am not saying NUFC are invulnerable and I would approach games at Stamford Bridge, Etihad or Emirates with utter trepidation, I just think Man U are there for the taking this season and this season only; the players need to remember SAF isn't there)

    I agree.

It again shows how vital it is to rest some of our midfield against Swansea. We can't expect our midfield to put in the effort of the four previous games in to the next two if they don't have a rest period.

As you've pointed out their weakest area is our strongest. It would therefore be stupid of Pardew to weaken our strongest area before we even kick a ball against Man Utd by playing them for 80/90 plus minutes vs Swansea.

Would take a draw but feel Man U are finding their way under Moyes so we might just nick a win.

I'd always take a draw at Man Utd, but one day we will win there, just don't think it will be Saturday.

We will be above Manure in the league going into this game. When was the last time that happened in a season?

1996, I'd imagine. That said, we'll be below them before half time.

Man Utd are a wounded animal and I expect them to win comfortably here.
