sometimes it makes me wonder WTF is going on... perfect start against a team who were on the floor, then a performance like that.. anybody know what the fook kasper was doing for the second goal? no wonder Im growing a fookin ulcer...
you are so right we are not consistent we have f****d up tonight just like Doncaster, Charlton,Blackpool and the twigs! and i do not rate Kasper!
****ing hell. Perspective please Were top of the league still and only QPR won from the teams around us And to blame Kasper! 1st goal Wasilewski got done too easily and the 2nd Knockaert was too slow at closing him down
The second goal was horrendous keeping. Should have either told his defenders to clear it or claimed it for his own. Instead he did neither and it came in off the back post. You can't deny that this was a good opportunity to get some more points and keep the 3 point gap. It's a poor loss going into a very difficult month. We need to bounce back and I have every confidence in the team. Nige's interview was very good, he didn't sound happy and he sounded like the mistakes that happened today won't happen again in a hurry.
I'd agree with you on just about everything here ... on Kasper, his plus points are his reactive shot stopping and his distribution ... but if we are being honest his decision making and ability to deal with crosses leave a lot to be desired at times ... Hard to find much comfort from last night - we did create a lot of chances (and at least had 50% on target) and we did dominate possession ... I went into the game quite optimistically and the start should have given us the foundation to put a struggling side to the sword - instead, when they equalised, there seemed an inevitability that they would get another ... important that we bounce back as we have this season so far ... can't afford a collapse like last year ...
****'s sake lads, come on! Kasper is quality - among the best in the division. We relyon him a tad too much which is why you see mistakes. This is our fourth loss of the season - we will lose more and every time we have lost it has been by small margins or daft mistakes that are not recurring. We will win far more games than we lose this season - Already we have seen a marked improvement on last year in terms of grinding out results and are a lot more consistent, we will be in the mix at the end of the season. We are top of the league - we have all been watching football long enough to know that being at the top is a good thing, and we also know that teams try harder against high flyers. Odd results like this from time to time happen when you're at the top.
... I too think that he is one of the best keepers in the division ... however, his mistakes are because he makes them, not because we rely on him too much... all teams rely on their players, de facto - they are getting paid to do a job as professional footballers - it's no different to any other job or indusry in that you are paid to do a job for which you should have the necessary skills ... the criticism on Kasper for this game and the one at Donny is justified - but we move on.
Nice to see your lot get a **** result, just like QPR on Saturday. No standout teams in the championship, so we will both drop lots of stupid points. Expect it to be close for most of the season and looking forward to the Leicester game.
Good and realistic summary of life in the Championship - would expect a good game of footie between the two teams from a technical perspective.
I thought your yearly bottle losing sequence would break this season - you usually only capitulate after we beat you, but as we did not for the first time since Jesus was born, I thought this might be your year - but instead it looks like you are waving the white flag a month earlier than usual!!
Watch the Millwall express fall even further into decline next month when Waggy returns here. Next stop League 1
F**k me man, some of the negativity after 1 result, its like being on foxestalk. Even the phone in on the radio afterwards was positive. We pulled away on Saturday and got pegged back today, its the championship, thats what happens. Rather than slate Kasper, i'd give Wickham credit there, the fact is that ball was a cross with alot of swerve on it. Puts more pressure on the result at Brighton, but they also got turned over by a managerless side ...at home!
Nice to see they let you out.. thought you had emigrated after saturday... Wizard, people are allowed to voice an opinion win or lose... criticism can be both positive an d negative.. Im not a blind faith person .. Im sure nigel didn't give the players a standing ovation either
Its fair to find criticism, tbh it didn't sound like any of our players played well, but hate the phrase "bottled it". We were crap, but we havn't bottled it until we slip away from the other teams in the autos. We bottle it when we give up our top spot or auto chances, thats just my take on the phrase. The teams we have lost to (bar Forest), we were expected to win fairly easily, this has been Leicesters undoing for a few seasons now, those clubs prob put in the extra effort because they are underdogs. It would have helped us last night to have a demotivated Dave Jones team rather than a team with nothing to lose, but thats just how the fixtures land, if we'd had Sheff Wed Saturday and Millwall Tuesday, we may have got 6 points. p.s. you could also look at it that we have gained 2 points on Burnley over the last week, and still 7 points to 4th
While wasilewski and knockaert should take some blame, would feel fairly confident myself of doing better than Kasper did.How many points has he cost you this season.more than QPR AND Burnleys keeper I would bet.
