WPL League positions (After 14 rounds)


Watford's loss meant another lowish scoring week for many of us. However there were some high scores around with Mark the Horn and Salisbury Kev both reaching 63 and my own blindfold tipping coming up trumps. Becoming a bit closer at the top with Gordon wobbling a bit and the battle for second hotting up. Elsewhere H is obviously waiting for Al.

I've been watching the steady rise of Cologne. It won't be long till he is back in first place to reclaim his title!

 

i just cannot understand why so many teams do not understand that they should be playing up to my level of expectation.

 

Most points in a while and I still lose a place feeling disappointed and despondent whatever next?

 

WPL League positions (After 15 rounds).


I would so much like to be able to comment on a high scoring week with the Hornets winning - but unfortunately it's not to be at the moment. A quite average scoring week (apart from myself that is ) - highest score was by Aberdeen Hornet followed by Boltons Boots, al (whose 54 takes him up behind H) and the man named after that legend of my youth,Scullion,who takes over temporarily in 4th place.

WPL League positions (After 16 rounds)

No changes at the top this week, although it's all very close from 3rd to 9th place. Highest riser of the day was Yorkie, moving up from 11th to 5th. Low scores for most of us with no one getting the Watford result correct - highest scorer was Hornethologist with 77 (including two unique scorelines). I will be updating the future predictions thread later today for anyone who is going away over the festive period and wants to tip well in advance.

WPL League positions (After 17 rounds)

Another very difficult week to predict with no less than 8 of our home teams failing to find the net. This didn't prevent Saxet recording the highest score of the day with 62 - with no one else creeping above 50. Gordon and Zen are still well clear at the top but with a new 3rd place (Ah...him that does the scoring !). Elsewhere Saxet was the highest riser of the day.

My form, of late, has been poor and it is no surprise that I am slipping down the league. Neither is it a surprise that last year's champion has now moved into third place.

 

My form is fairly typical of the Championship...top last week; almost bottom this week.

 

For some bizarre reason I am scoring points, don't care how but happier days
