Wouldn't be surprised if Sam out and Harry in isn't already a done deal behind closed doors....

MANAGER REACTION - Nottingham Forest 5-0 West Ham

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce: "What choice (in terms of team selection) did I have? I don't think I had one.

"I make the decisions for benefit of everyone at the football club. We have a huge amount of problems in terms of available players.

"We have a League Cup semi-final against Manchester City and the main priority is to get to Wembley. My changes had to be severe today, I didn't want it to be."

Sam Allardyce looks downhearted and defensive as he faces up to the television cameras. He is a man under pressure. I imagine that the visitors' dressing room was a rather ugly place to be for a debrief.

I really think that will happen, out of the frying pan into the fire for us.

Hughes was a 2/10 manager for us, redknapp a 3/10 manager. I think fat Sam would be a 4/10 manager but still nowhere near good enough.

Its fat sam, get used to the idea. Why would we appoint a half decent manager?
MM is suing baardif so he can't get a job in football until that is sorted. Zola is the clear favourite, fat Sam is the only other manager who would be out of work so its either them or poach someone.

Apparently in Sam's favour is the fact he signed a new three year contract last summer, the tightwad Pornbrokers might not want to shell out that sort of money but desperation and their losses if relegated might just persuade them to pull the trigger. They have also taken out loans against future Premier League payments which helped pay for that big crock Andy Carroll. They are more financially stretched than we are...

I really don't want this to happen, don't want to see Big Sam reunited with Wally Downes - very disruptive for us changing our management team at this point in the season. Wouldn't be surprised though as HR is obviously quite fickle in matters such as this.

Glenn Hoddle for me, even if we miss out this season I'd back him to get us in shape by next season...

IF HR does return to the hamsters, what are the odds on zamora following back there. After all, he fits into the hamsters way of recruiting crocked strikers:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Forest looking really good, if they pick up a striker in this window they'll be a real threat. Derby put in a spirited display Vs Chelsea too.
I think we can safely say there are at least four sides better than us in the championship currently, the aforementioned, Leicester, and probably Burnley too.

Hole players are two a penny. So we'll be able to afford one who gets in back as well.

Also looks like Carlisle showed up at Sunderland, losing 3-1, as are Oldham at Liverpool (currently 1-0 down).

So it seems like it is just us that played like crap in the FA Cup against better opposition.

Nice at Man Utd v Swansea game that Eusebio was recoginzed pre-match.
