WOW!!! What a read. If all true that makes M&M no longer employable by anyone, what a pair!! Makes quite a shocking read. Just goes to show you can never judge a book buy its cover.
Cant blame Tan for wanting some payback. If I had two corrupt employees working for me and were racist and homophobic I would make sure the whole world would know too!! They deserve everything that comes to them (if true)

 

This is Tan taking the moral high ground (oh the irony!). I'm not condoning racism but those texts reflect a personal view and were not for public consumption. Yet again we are hanging someone out to dry for holding personal views that don't reflect on his ability as a manager. Thought Police alert! George Orwell was spot on wasn't he? We now live in a society where you're not allowed to even joke about your innermost personal beliefs. I don't agree with Malky's views (if they are indeed his) but I respect his right to hold them.

But more importantly, and even if you disagree with that, Malky was paid off and forced into a grovelling apology. That should have been the end of the matter, but no. Tan has to have his pound of flesh and then some. Absolutely no need for it imo. Hopefully they'll crash and burn again this season and this odious little man will **** off from whence he came.

 

No I haven't read it, which is why I'm not jumping to conclusions like many on here are. I don't care about his reputation at all. I just care that there's no racism in the game and that it should be reported if there is evidence of it. Tan says he has evidence so I'll wait for the investigation to see who's right and who's wrong. Just because you don't like some doesn't mean they are wrong all the time. Many are letting their prejudices get in the way of finding the truth. But that's some people for you. They will jump on any bandwagon, whether it's justified or not.

Whether Tan is an odious individual or not is completely irrelevant. Even odious individuals are allowed to report bad behavior. Bad behavior doesn't become good behavior just because an odious person you don't like reports it. Get some perspective.

 

No-one was forced into a grovelling apology. Where did you get that from? Either there was something to apologise for or there wasn't. If there was, then apaologise. If not, then don't.

Paying off someone for a contract doesn't not absolve racist or homophobic behavior. If it's taken place it needs to be dealt with. I don't know why you think it shoudl go unchecked.

 

Tan is showing his true Ruth ess nature, he is a guy interested in money and power and would beat any of us to penny on the floor Even though he has millions in his bank.

He is getting payback from malky and one day he Will Get his payback from Cardiff too .

I think the timing is the concern. It sounds like Tan has had this information for quite some time but only acts on it when Mackay looks like getting a job.
But you are right, it should be investigated.

I've used the word 'chinky' like most people have. Doesn't mean I'm racist. In fact I have Asian friends. We don't know for sure if Malky made these comments but he has a history of giving ethnic players their break in the game and he has a lot to offer to any Club that takes him on. The Prem needs more good British managers like him and less of the blood-sucking snakes like Tan.

If he's proved to have been dishonest that's a different matter as it's nothing to do with a personally held belief and has a more direct bearing on his ability as a manager.

I dont condone for one moment what MM has allegedly done but its interesting that this evidence has come out of a search for evidence re financial misdemeanours. Therefore this is a really 'Brucie bonus' for Tan. I am not sure when he actually presented this evidence but it is very coincidental that it has come to light when MM is on the verge of getting the Palace job.

I also wonder if Tan would be willing, in the spirit of openness, to an investigation of his phone, emails (business & personal) and meeting notes etc. as I am sure he is squeaky clean!


It would appear that MM has little chance if getting a top job in the UK any time soon so he may have to seek warmer climes - Quatar anyone.

Mackay will probably earn a fortune out of the U.K, glam in a less PC-conscious environment where his work is valued more than the content of his thoughts, so this may work out well for him eventually.

Just heard on Sky that Cardiff are saying the texts "bring the game into disrepute" How can private messages do such a thing? It's nonsense. And this from a man who bribed his way into getting the Malaysian lottery franchise without it even going out to tender - as crooked as the day is long. The irony shouldn't be lost.

 

Sorry but I couldn't disagree more. Whether they were for public consumption or not they are still racist. The very fact they are personally held beliefs makes him a racist (if true). The fact that he uses these terms in private behind peoples backs also makes him a coward in my book!!
Just because someone doesnt make public his racist views doesn't make him any less of a racist than someone who shouts it from the rooftops!!

 

Malky and Moody are caught in a Malaysian witch hunt imo .Tan's still pissed at them and will do anything within semi truths and heresay as he "Rages " to get his way within the league , as he has done with the Cardiff team . I'll wait and see how it pans out over time , but suspect it will cost Tan a bit of cash .
