Can you see the big screen from where you sit? Do you even bother looking at it?

I was in Glasgow today, and went past Celtic's ground, which is kind of similar in layout to ours (they have one small side). Their big screen hangs off the Lisbon Lions stand facing towards the pitch (so similar to if the big screen hung facing the pitch in front of the away support... Would that have been better?

 

Yeah, I could see it ok, but didn't watch it at all.

That is probably a better idea.

Think Rogers will be losing his supports at Liverpool very soon. Incredibly poor performance from them, they made changes far too late, and they didn't have any effect anyway. Gerrard was the only threat today. Apart from that, Liverpool where tripe. This league form along with them about to crash out the champions league (probably) doesn't look good.

Then again credit where it's due, of course our lads played there ****ing hearts out. They went for everything, just like city if Liverpool didn't come out with the idea of parking the bus I think we would have had lots more. Great run at the minute, really hope it continues!

 

I would usually jump at the chance to criticize Colo when he has a poor game, but he really was massive today! Great MotM performance by Colo, winning several aerial battles despite that not being his forte. Almost everybody played well today, which is good to see for a change!

 

Look at a photo of him when he first signed for us and look at him now. It looks like one of those photoshopped pictures of before and after when you joined the "6 minute abs program"!! He has put on some serious muscle! Fair play to the lad. He hasnt given up, just got his head down and worked like a bastard. I cant belive the change in attitude from the team. I may have got this all wrong, I think the players really feel they let Pardew down over the first 6 games and they are determined to show everyone that it was their fault and not Pardew`s that we were in the position that we were in. To be honest, thats all I want, players that give everything they can on the pitch, and if we lose, we lose. But its not because of lack of effort. Its just a shame that they only show that sort of commitment when they feel their backs are against the wall. If they showed that mindset week after week the support and noise they would get from the crowd would go through the decibel range. My heart is in conflict with my brain! Help!!!
