Well tbh with you mate I wont be going. But if I was I'd wear no colours & get the 42 bus across the road from my house. That would get me to Eldon Square bus station. Then I'd just try to intermingle & make my way up to Pie Hole Park.
If he doesn't show his face soon I have a work contact for him, I'll go get a Thai dictionary! Maybe he's got too leathered and pissed on his broadband router!
This says it all to me...It stinks of a set up to me similar to the one when Sunderland fans returned from Hearts..
The police have laid out their plan, the club have laid on free buses, which only leaves those who choose not to listen to advice. We are all aware of the conflict that could happen so the common sense approach by club and authorities could be wrecked by those who want to draw attention to themselves and maybe even invite violence. Billy nailed it when he said about going but without any colours, the central station gathering will doubtless be the flashpoint. Sad but inevitable.
There will only be a flash point if there are Newcastle fans waiting at the station for no other reason but to ambush and attack our supporters....
And the countless Sunderland supporters who don't live in Sunderland, not everyone lives on Roker Avenue. Not to mention people who simply don't have the time available to spend 4 or 5 extra hours sitting on a bus or in an empty ground. But just ignore anything that doesn't fit in with your pre-determined view of things
Why aye cos your fans at all ****ing angels aren't they? Being from a pretty much 50/50 area of Durham I know plenty of your lot who by their own admission went to games as much to find opposition fans to fight as they did to watch the football. Don't get me wrong I know plenty with of our own with that same attitude, who knows we may even have more idiots than you, but I dare say we've got more fans too, certainly more who turn out for home games!
Do you know what, i dont think half the tits on both sides would be giving it the big un without the police line
Don't be so naive fella. There's a huge difference between some lads arranging a rook(which ALL teams have. even Darlington 1883 have a firm) and taking to the streets of your own city and confronting police in their 100s throwing glass bottles at police and vandalising the place. It was a major incident. Why it's your team particular who has this standout element is a mystery but you have it and it's one of the worst if not worst in recent times imo.
