I notice a few clubs have 'not606xxxx' twitter accounts. Just wondered who is responsible for setting these up, moderating the spammers out and other practicalities? The list I've found so far includes QPHa, Bristol City and Rovers, Newcastle, Shrewsbury... On a hoomeruss note, QPHa have 496 followers, Newcastle 1,011 - and 1p5wich 65 (sixty five) So, twitter follower numbers virtually mirror match-day ground support.
You could start one yourself if you wished to, one thing though, you'd need a second email account as you can't have two twitter accounts on the same email address!
In the case of the F1 board, the twitter account just tweets out links to every thread posted automatically, with some appropriate hashtags to get some attention. I think that's pretty easy to set up.
I'll ask the other f1 mods how they went about it. If I can set up something simple in a few minutes, maybe!
@Not606Norwich now exists, and is hopefully set up to tweet the title of every new thread created on the forum. We'll see if it works!
You / it has one (1) follower already Thanks for setting it up - hopefully it won't take long to beat ITHC's 67 followers
I gave it my best shot Jon Dunn @cromercanary 29s30 seconds ago #NorwichCity fans, the #Not606 fans forum/message board has a new twitter account. Feel free to give them a follow, @Not606Norwich Cheers.
I wish I'd unticked email notifications earlier now! It appears to be working though, it tweeted out a link to the predictions thread.
