The thing is about this forum It's not just a place to air or football views It's also a place to have fun with off topic issues Some times the banter and debate go long into the night with some of our night owls The the thread is picked up by our overseas contingent And the threads go on and on You all agree there has been some great fun. There is quite a few on here a bit like myself, read all the posts and have a tendency to only inter grate when they fell nessessary. It's quite on here at the moment. The likes of comm and terry and a few others keep this forum ticking over. This is and has been for few years now a very good and basically SELF MODERATED forum However I'm not taking away the fact that we have excellent moderators on our forum.
But their team is doing well at the moment and they have good things to talk about. The fortune of this board, like many others, are driven by how the team is doing and our mood at the minute is pretty dark and this reflected by the general apathy. In general nobody likes moaning or undermining their own team but they way we are playing right now we are dwelling on the negatives, such as team set up or tactics, always losing the first goal etc. I don't often visit other boards as they are much of a sameness in personality and content but how many of us can cast our minds to last season when Leicester were all but doomed. Some waded in to their supporters, players and manager but now have more than egg on their face. Similarly, Hull supporters did the same to us as we trailed them in the league, and we all know the outcome and yea verily there was rejoicing when Hull went down. They could be on their way back next season and who knows could replace us. Put it down to the fortunes of football and individuals who can handle it without lashing out. Pretty much like life really.
I've just recently started I posting more than I used to. Tend not to get involved in the off topic threads, and only tend to post when I've got something to add to a thread. As I said before I think the board is related directly to what's happening on the pitch. It's pretty dire on there making this forum a bit of a struggle for some people.
I disagree, we can discuss owt on here, lots of random bollocks just like you would at the pub. The off topic threads piss some off but quite often they're the most active. We've discussed shed loads of subjects on here man. **** me, my thread about pies ran for a good while.
I don't get on a great deal because of the time difference and now that I've moved in with the bird I'd prefer to spend time with her than squabbling on here. Not to mention Aus is still pretty new to me so I'm having an explore.
I love this forum - even now - posters have come and gone and I've fallen out with a few and some don;t like me but the forum, in my opinion, is the best all round footy forum there is - I can't get away with r2g or a number of others that are out there - this one is the best and easiest to use and navigate.
I'm sure there will be an upsurge in traffic on this site next month when you lot beat us again <ffs>
^^ See, even discussing another potential Derby victory has increased the footfall. By the way, can't you lot beat anyone else?
I don't post a whole lot on here and haven't since it started. I do come on a lot to read the threads as some of them are really interesting and some down right funny. Also busier than a one armed paper hanger with a case of crabs, but that's no excuse. I should post more because I invariably have an opinion when I'm reading a post I just chose not to voice it. However there are some awesome fellas on this forum who I would like to share a beer with one day.
