Celebrity chef Ian Forbes-Kennedy has pleaded not guilty to sixteen counts of slave labour at his Exeter restaurant. Forbes-Kennedy, who presented the cooking show Road Grill for three years, regularly chained staff to kitchen utensils for up to 18 hours each day. A former member of Forbes-Kennedy's staff claims the TV star poured boiling water on one junior chef's testicles after the youngster drizzled too much chocolate sauce on a customer's profiteroles. Another staff member described how he had his thumbs blanched by Forbes-Kennedy, 42. The case continues.
