Not as good as he was pre injury but still quality.

Hopefully this clears the path for us to get Xhaka.

That mirror article has a hilarious #poll

Were Liverpool right to be awarded a penalty for a foul on Christian Benteke?

Apparently 28% of people can't read, or otherwise think fouls in the box aren't penalties when it comes to Liverpool #bitter

Butland is a good keeper, I have a mate who is a Stokie and he raves over him. Whether they would let him go, or he would want a move, is another matter

I can't see him going this year. I think he'll do one more year at Stoke and then move...

Think it it depends if de gea or lloris move as well. If either of them two go them United or Spurs will probably look at him

Butland is England's best keeper right now - and he's only going to get better.

Shame we didn't go for him befor he went to Stoke. Will cost a fortune now.

Theyve already appealed so they could get him in summer.

Butland is very good and his worked his way up the Leagues nicely. I reckon he'll cost £20m but I'm ok with that.

    Forster is also very good.

I wouldn't put Forster much higher than Mig. Probably a slight improvement but not enough to fork out 15m on him.

In the last few games he's been at fault for a few of their goals.

I think you are right about butland.

He looks a very solid keeper for his age who has benefited by playing.

If we look at schmeicel at leicester he left city after a few errors where hart was chosen to be the guy but he's done his time at leicester and gained experience.

    Keepers must play to develop.

As of now. De gea is almost sure to be a real player this summer. He should have been but real played a game and utd played one right back and he got caught in the middle in a hotel in madrid waiting to sign. Lloris got his wrist broken and i have to wonder did that one tip the de gea transfer? In any event lloris has been very loyal (in relative terms) to spurs and i can't see him move if they are in CL (which they are almost assured off by now)

the thing about butland is he is under contract til 2019. That puts most of the power in stokes hands and they do not need to sell. I think butland will be a 30-40mil price if anyone goes knocking. Its not about value is about the amount of money in the game.

when you then add in he's only going to be a association player as well that makes a timo horn for 4mil look a really good deal.

butland however is very very good already and could play at the top of bought by a top club for 10 years so....

going to be controversial but... Forester is not much better if at all than mingolet. Not impressed with his ground game. big lad, good keeper but i think we slag off mingolet a lot but forester is the same type of keeper.. will he make similar mistakes as the pressure comes on and number of games goes up?

    I dunno.

Have to agree with this. Forsters kicking doesnt look great and whilst hes a good shot stopper and probably less error proje than minger i think forster is terrible at commanding his area and doesnt like to dominate it

I think Forster is good - he's had a couple of dodgy games over past few weeks but Soton's defence have improved since he came back.

Timo Horn, Karius and that 16 year old from Milan should be high on our radars.

Add a dodgy Liverpool defence and it's a like for like swap. Forster isn't good enough.
