Right now it looks like maybe the best chance of keeping Trump away from the 1237 delegates needed for the first round win, is too keep Rubio, Cruz and Kasich in the race, so they can limit Trump's numbers. If anyone pulls out before the convention, then Trump must take a share of the new votes available. Not good news for the GOP back room boys. Just a thought.

I can confirm that, QMII, there are almost certainly a few million Canucks who would chip in a bit to help them build the bloody wall, to keep the flipping Yanks out!

SH - received a row in Flemings Hotel for leaving a picture of 'The Donald' strategically placed in the public toilet!

It is starting to look like the backlash against Donald “My Only Policy Is Build A Wall On The Mexican Border” Trump has started to materialise.

He had to cancel a rally in Chicago after more objectors showed up than his security people could beat up or evict.

Regrettably, he probably garnered several million more votes after 08:00 hrs. CET this morning?

Ah don't say that - very, very depressing as it is probably true. :-( I see the out brigade across social media are already using it to full effect. Not on here yet to be fair.

Mature democracy my candyarse! That guy in Cyc's post should invest a few million Australian dollars in Hillary!

4 million gets you 7 million plus!!!!!

Taking the conversation downscale a peg or three; I would much rather have a bash at Heidi (sounds a nice lady!) Cruz than the skinny bint that Herr Drumpf is hitched to!

Strange that you should joke about the young bloke giving money to Hillary. He's said. "You must expect people not to believe you. I don't care, I never tell anyone anything." He added. "I'm giving it away, I don't want it."

This almost reads like “Republican Votes for Sale”, but who would that surprise?

Back in 2000, Dubya ‘won’ Florida (the State where his brother was Governor) by a combination of dodgy counting of votes (remember the ‘hanging chads’?) and the fact that a large proportion of the State’s black voters (predominately Democrat supporters) had not registered to vote. Defeated Presidential candidate Al Gore wanted to drag the whole matter through every court in the land but was eventually persuaded to drop it.

This election is probably going to be decided by the female vote. Currently 70% of women polled say they would not vote for Trump and its a well-documented fact that since 1980 more women than men have voted in US Presidential Elections.

A good article on the topic here
