Off Topic Terrorists attacks in Brussels

My point is 999's, some people were quick enough to jump on this thread to try to justify their Brexit beliefs and point a finger at the EU. This atrocity has nothing to do with the EU. It would appear (or least the Belgian authorities are speculating) that the lads responsible for this attack were home grown naturalised Belgians just as the 7/7 terrorists were naturalised British born citizens. To think that only 5 hours ago a few dozen people lost their lives and scores more were injured and scarred for life and some people think it is ample opportunity to justify their own beliefs on Brexit.

 

Grim **** again,the Nuclear Power Plant has just been evacuated,amid concerns of an attack! What a sad world we live in.

 

Dreadful news & my thoughts go out those caught in the bombing, Pure scum those terrorists.

 

Surely Sky News could've got a reporter outside Downing Street,who's name wasn't Faisel Islam ! A tad insensitive me thinks.

 

Agree Facto. Skynews turn these atrocities into Xfactor TV. They always drag Kay out for these terrorist attacks and will bring in the usual ex-terrorism people telling us it could be us next.

You cannot deal with these freaks and i have said before, keep killing as many as you can and hope they don't hit us.

No he can't,but Sky can help who they put outside Downing St ! Can't see how Peter Wire would offend anyone,these attacks weren't carried out by Wireist terrorists,but by Islamic ones!

 

Surely this shows that the UK is one of the most intergrated countries in the world and that anyone from any background can become something.....

These terrorists are no more a true muslim than you or I mate. They use Islam as an excuse for their hatred. The religion doesn't use the people, the people use the religion. It's an important distinction to make, and one that sadly most people (on here at least) don't seem able to grasp.

They are thugs, murderers and scum. And they deserve everything they get when tracked down. Don't let that make you hate proper Muslims though, because if you do, then you're playing straight into their hands.

It's a wicked, but simple cycle. They associate themselves as Islamic. They bomb and kill. People who fall for the ruse that this is about religion start hating proper, peaceful, muslims who abhor the violence and death as much as we do. The terrorists then point to the 'hatred of the white man for the arab' and stir up more and more willing suckers to their cause. And all because they hate us in the first place - whether it's because we have the better land, more money, a far higher quality of life, longer life expectancy, or whether it's due to some perceived injustice either recent or historic - doesn't really matter.

The one certainty is that this is NOT a reflection of Islam. And reactions like some you see on here is just making everything worse - which they love.

 

Your initial post that there is no point getting into this again is right. And so is Stroller. It makes no difference what a 'true Muslim' is, the perpetrators of these attacks regard themselves as following the purest form of Islam that there is, to the extent that they will blow themselves up in the process. The decent Muslims are no more 'proper' than these nutters, they just interpret the same texts in different ways, that are more acceptable to you. It's obviously a problem generated by Islam, in addition to poverty and ignorance.

 

Didn't a similar thing happen in London a few years ago. I'm not sure our security services are any better than those in Belgium!

They are not from Yorkshire though really are they what part of them and the way they lived their life was remotely quintessential British or Yorkshireish hahahaha

They hated England , were from Asian decent and are Muslim tell me what makes them Yorkshire folk ?

It's just different interpretations of the same texts. I'm sure these people think that peaceful Muslims living in the West are not 'proper Muslims' and probably don't care that they will be killing some of them along with the Kaffirs.

Would you consider the Saudi regime 'proper Muslims', Chaz? There's a PBS documentary due to air in this country next week, which will show some of the horrors that take place in a 'legitimate' lslamic state - one of our bigger trading partners.

 

These debates will always get tempers flowing. People say things they don't always mean or get frustrated with what others say.
Everyone will have their own opinions on this issue and although i disagreed with Hammersmith on what he said i can also understand his point of view.
At the end of the day this is about a bunch of twisted freaks who follow some corrupt outdated belief. They do this stuff because they cannot live in a normal civilised society and because the majority of us won't buy into their rubbish.
