Woodward is not committed to change manager even if we finish outside the top 4. The problem is that the finances of United are hardly affected by CL participation or non participation in this case. The premier league now provides so much money that it dwarfs the CL in terms of income especially if the club does not reach the knock out stages. On top, lack of CL reduces players wages (****ing right!) so that the loss is even less. The clubs treasurer said the net loss would be something like 10-15m which is chicken feed when the anticipated annual income was £500m+ .

United is too ****ing successful outside the pitch to be worried about being successful on it

I had but then there was murmurings of giving him a chance IF we'd finished 4th and won the FA Cup. I started to question my gut feeling, but after tonight, even if we had got top 4 and FA Cup I don't think I could stomach another 12 months of this ****e. It's not the success or failure, it's the whole point of watching football, it's fcking torture. It's masachism in its truest form if you're a United fan.

 

For me, the turning point was the home match against PSV. That was a huge eye opener. Players totally lost, no energy and afraid to receive the ball. I knew then that this was not a United manager.
