Only just noticed that this win was our joint record away league winning margin of all time, and also QPR's record home league losing margin of all time, joint highest losing margin in any competition, and joint highest goals conceded at home.

We now have quite a high profile on QPR's records with this score, along with their highest scoring draw - both at home and overall (5-5), and their record transfer fee received (£6 million for Les Ferdinand).

The most pleasing thing was how comfortable we were . We defended well when we needed to. Which with our pressing and ball retention wasn't often. We also looked amazing in spells without seemingly hitting top gear. Qpr were so poor, but you have to beat what's in front of you. We did that with great ease. Just a shame about perchinio getting what looks a bad injury. Anyone know how bad it is?

First match attended in a few years and what a one to pick!

Chatting to a QPR fan on way to game said I was wary about this game and Hasselbank was doing a decent job, he was like "ummm....wait until you see us", and so it proved!

QPR were pretty horrendous, so we can't get too carried away, but there was a great style and swagger about our play, defensively rock solid, and lethal in attack, with Shelvey and Hayden completely dominating midfield. Nice to see first glimpse of Atsu, he looked awesome and could be a great player for us this season.

Cracking game to be at, unfortunately i was in with the home fans so had to restrain myself. the abuse some of the fans were throwing at their own players was awful.

Also in the home fans, couldn't help but show some joy at the goals! Some squarking fat cow behind me seemed to notice Newcastle fans where everywhere in the home end and was endlessly mouthing off about it. Didn't noticed much abuse though, they seemed well behaved, and most of them left on 70 minutes!

Jimmy having a pop at our spending was laughable......

He misses the point that we made a big PROFIT from sales this Summer...... and yes.... his club had their collar felt over FFP too...

We need to get used to the grief from other clubs chaps.

They won't like being turned over this season.

One guy on the radio was saying he thought it was 'unfair' that we were allowed to be relegated as it means there's only one automatic place up for grabs and it makes the championship uncompetitive. He forgets that our away following will bring lot of £££ to other grounds.... We are where we are on merit (or lack of as we got relegated) and we potentially get promoted on merit.

Ah yes, he reels off the prices of Mitro and Shelvey both of whom we bought when we in the Premiership, and neatly ignored the fact that QPR used to spend like there was no tomorrow only a couple of years ago - remember Samba and Remy, Jimmy?
