Thank fcuk a decision has been made and it was well over due too, Good luck to FG where ever he ends up but he was never for us.... And now we enter the unknown with a first ever American manager which is an exiting new venture that nobody knows which way it will go so we will just have to trust the new manager and wish him well that he has a plan that will put us back on the road to recovery....
In fairness, a good post Dai. As I've posted previously, many of the concerns about Guidolin were rooted in last season's performances, statements such as the following were common place on the forum last season: 1) For me the huge disappointment today was that Guidolin was too petrified to go for the second goal. 2) Guidolin bottled it today. 3) Our speedy wingers were sitting on the bench watching the grass grow. 4) There were players performing worse than him. Our manager was performing worse than him. Whilst the manner of his departure was "poor" & the support of the fan base was moving in his direction, the Owners have made their decision and we must & will support Bob. The "king" is dead, long live the "king"
A customer of ours went out there, he's not the most tactful person, so I'm waiting for his stories when he gets back.
That's not exactly true 12 games, 5 wins, 4 draws, 3 lost in total including cup games. His team currently are 5th in the league 3 points off top. A team that they beat 5-2. He's only lost 8 games in nearly 12 months.
Whatever the case I'm sure most would agree we have to get behind the guy and see how it pans out. Looks like Roof has done the Canadian equivalent of hara kiri. Guidolin gone and a Yank in place. Bloody hell.
Cheers Swan, I heard he was struggling in France and, up until his last win, they were twelfth in the league. Always happy to be put right when I'm wrong though
You are more than likely right, though when I checked last night they were shown as 11th, clearly a site error, which I over looked and didn't spot, which I have stated on another thread in response to you picking me up on this, well spotted though, and in my defence I have never claimed to be infallible, far from it.............
By the way that was Sochaux's first league defeat last night. I told you all I was going to be positive.
