    Solve the riddle for a well-known steeplechaser.

    You make my first, though three often abound,
    You should live life to my second- to be what the glutton ne'er aspires,
    My third means rare, especially on the ground,
    My last sits aloof and can pull all the wires.

    This one is letters based, rather than syllables:

    My first is in good, and also in great
    My second is in early but not in late;
    My third is often seen before "-turn"
    My fourth is in Flame but not in burn.
    My fifth is in coffee and also in tea,
    My sixth is in Bonnet but not in bee.
    My seventh, and final, is in "in" but not in "on"
    And one of my stablemates is called Walkon
