4 wins from the last 7 games has seen Wolves attempt to clear themselves from a 2nd successive relegation. They have lost the last two games against Bolton (0-2) and Huddersfield (1-3). Their overall form is very poor. They have only won 4 in the last 19 games and it doesn't look good for the Wolves at all. Being pre-Season promotion favourites, Wolves have seriously under-achieved in the Championship this Season after starting with Stale Solbakken as Manager until he was replaced with Dean Saunders in an attempt to keep their Championship status. One of Wolves' most influential players, Jamie O'Hara has earned himself a two match ban and will be unavailable for the match against the Tigers. They currently sit in 23rd, 2 points behind 21st place Peterborough and will be in desperate need of 3 points. Wolves has only won 6 times at their own Ground, losing 8 and drawing 7. Saunders knows that Wolves will need to take advantage of their home games in order to stay in the Division. Wolves' main men, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Bakary Sako are injured for this game, they have 15 and 10 goals respectively.

On the back of a much welcomed win away at Portman Road on Saturday, the Tigers will be looking to extend their advantage over 3rd placed Watford and get ever so much closer to a return to the Premier League. Goals from Robbie Brady (penalty) and Robert Koren earned City a 2-1 win over Ipswich and earned the Tigers their second successive League victory. Earning points away from home is vital to Hull City's promotion push and the Tigers have been very reliable away from home, having the joint best away record in the Championship. Matty Fryatt was brought on as a sub against the Tractor Boys and looked as enthusiastic as ever. He could be a main piece of the automatic promotion puzzle. Special mention to Abdoulaye Faye, who's dancing was sublime.

    Interesting Facts
    - 18 of Hull City's 24 League wins have been by a single goal.
    - Robert Koren could make his 250th League start for an English Club.
    - Wolves have lost 6 times this Season after taking the lead.
    - Hull are 3 goals short of 100 in League games against Wolves.
    - Hull City are unbeaten against Wolves in the last 5 League meetings, with Wolves last taking points from the Tigers back in 2007 at Molineux.

    Analysis
Definitely going to be a tough, tough game. Wolves are in some sort of form winning four of their last 7 and will be scrapping for their lives. They have hard games against Burnley, Charlton and Brighton and so will be looking to gain a massive 3 points. City however, are very reliable away from home, and can manage to grind out the typical hard fought 1-0s. A much needed boost to our 'Goals Difference' would be brilliant in helping our chase for 2nd spot. With Wolves missing Ebanks-Blake, O'Hara and Sako, I can't see Wolves being too much of a threat up front. Doyle can be dangerous on his day but I'm sure our defence can handle him.

    Top Scorers

Wolverhampton Wanderers: Sylvan Ebanks-Blake 15, Bakary Sako 10, Kevin Doyle 7, Bjorn Sigurdarson 5, Danny Batth 2
Hull City: George Boyd 10, Robert Koren 9, Sone Aluko 8, Jay Simpson 7, Gedo 5, David Meyler 5

If we can get an early goal fancy 0-2 to City, however a draw or better still a narrow win with be very welcome.

Does George Boyd have 10 goals?

Regardless, think this will end 3-1 - Brady, Boyd and Elmo. Sigurdsonn for them as a consolation in the dying embers of the game.

If I was him, I'd be pretty pissed off that someone had knocked my 6 previous goals off and said I'd scored 4 ;)
