I am starting the competition to see who can predict the bottom three correctly. Rules Everyone is allowed to enter. Only 1 entry per member. Predict the three teams in order. 1 point if you predict a team in the bottom three correctly. 5 points if you correctly predict a team in their position. 3 points if you are 1 place off a team's position. If you correctly predict the bottom three(doesnt have to be in order) you get an extra 10 points. If a team you predicted in the bottom three finishes in the top 5, you get minus 5 points. The most amount of points you can get is 25. EG If you say: 18)QPR 19)Norwich 20)Swansea And the bottom three is: 18)WBA 19)Swansea 20)QPR You would get 4 points. If you dont understand the scoring, I'll tell you how many points you've got at the end of the season. My prediction: 18)Sunderland 19)Wigan 20)WBA
Bill - Thanks for not including Norwich in the bottom 3 Not sure how realistic it is going to be for all 3 of the new arrivals to survive but I guess it could happen. I will go for: 18. Wigan Ath 19. Wolves 20. Swansea I think the Swansea defence is going to be found out more often this time.
18. Wolves 19. Swansea 20. Wigan I fear that Swansea might be next year's Blackpool, entertaining but too attack-minded that they won't survive
18) Fulham 19) Wigan 20) Wolves I get the feeling Fulham starting six weeks earlier than everyone else will take its toll come the end of the season
I think there are going to be some surprises at the end of the season.I have the feeling that two of newly promoted are going to stay up. Wigan and Blackburn are not going to escape it this time. (18)Wigan (19)Blackburn (20)Norwich
18. Wigan 19. Blackburn 20. Norwich Wigan have been scraping for too long, Blackburn would have gone down if the season had been 5 matches longer and although I admire Paul Lambert Norwich have nothing different to offer the Premiership and will struggle home and away. QPR and Swansea will survive if only on novelty value and home form as teams will be wary of taking them on tactically in their backyard. Swansea may end up with quite a few 1-0 and 0-0 results at the Liberty but if they do they will be safe. Where Swansea may surprise a few Premiership teams when playing away is in their ability to counterattack but they will also need to defend way better than they did at Wembley when being hit by the aerial force that teams like Stoke will throw at them. And get stronger for 2012=13.
Wigan Blackburn Norwich Nothing more than a complete punt with no logical reasoning behind it. Get involved though innit.
Love that we're getting written off. Premier league dinosaurs have no idea what's coming 18.wolves 19.wigan 20.Swansea
If Carlsberg did relegations 18. Chelsea 19. Man City 20. Man Utd But probably 17, Swans - out of jail -- 18. Wolves 19. Fulham 20. Blackburn
I love how we're always the favourites to go down, but we're still here 7 years on, when will everyone learn that Latics are staying in the PL until Dave Whelan gives up the ghost and it's not like he spends much either. 18th QPR 19th Swansea 20th Norwich
