My contact close to the club reporting that the Bednter is still on and is looking more likely. Gedo wants to come to hull but the board won't allow it, very likely that if we was to get him we would have to activate his buy out clause and pay a fee thought to be around 1.4m that's what I'm hearing.

A name being mentioned is Defoe too.

2 signings to come today, Gedo expected + another striker.

It seems unlikely that the board wouldn't allow it when it was them that were the reason him and Fathi ended up here last season. We do need a striker though and the clock is literally ticking.

Not sure why Spurs would let him go and there's we could not afford his wages... would love him of course but no way will this happen.

Defoe is the "knock your socks off" signing. I can't see it, but I couldn't see Huddlestone and Livermore.

That's what I think as well but I also thought the same about Huddleston

I could only see Defoe on loan, due to his wages more than anything. So for it to happen I would expect the signing of Livermore or Graham. Perhaps a decent transfer fee for Livermore with Defoe coming our way for the season? This sort of signing would only come a couple of days after AA announces Hull Tigers will be playing their home games from the Tigers Lair in Melton :D

It's back to the 2 loan spots again, I don't see us splashing money on him, unless it's to do with getting Livermore permanently .

Defoe is the one we want, but it won't happen.

Seems too far away. The wages don't help, unless you pay him a bigger signing on fee and less wages.

Tottenham could still pay some of his wages if he joins permanently, a la Barmby.

If Defoe was to come in, then who would be made permanent? Don't think that will happen. That's if you're talking about a loan that is.

Buckingham understands Bendtner is undergoing a medical at Palace. Defoe would be an amazing signing but I really don't see it. The fee, wages and the fact I doubt he'd want to come all suggest to me it's unlikely.

Wasn't the transfer fee for Livers £3.5m (if we stayed up)?

I cant seeing Leavy sanctioning such a deal. He has no need to.

The Defoe thing can't be serious. But then he did sign for Portsmouth a few years back and he'll have had to take a paycut to go there, so never say never.

The Thudd signing always seemed too good to be true.

It is incredibly unlikely, but not impossible at all.

Defoe is a possibility (under the radar too) as AVB is basically getting rid of all English players (Huddlestone & Livermore for example). I think Gedo will come (because it's better than nothing) and the most likely in is Rodallega.
