This is where we miss Astro - not only would he have had the statistics, but by now he'd have proven beyond any mathematical doubt that the only reason we haven't already won the Prem this season is due to the PGMOL, the FA, and the Russian Mafia. I miss Astro.
Sacrilege! He took a great deal of time and endeavour to completely make those figures up - he never robbed them from anybody.
Chances of relegation: Wolves 0.4% Wham 1% Leeds 59% Forest 56% Leicester 27% Everton 60% Soton 98%! Games left Wolves: Aston Villa (h), Man Utd (a), Everton (h), Arsenal (a) Wham: Man City (a), Man Utd (h), Brentford (a), Leeds (h), Leicester (a) Leeds: Man City (a), Newcastle (h), West Ham (a), Tottenham (h) Forest: Southampton (h), Chelsea (a), Arsenal (h), Crystal Palace (a) Leicester: Everton (h), Fulham (a), Liverpool (h), Newcastle (a), West Ham (h) Everton: Leicester (a), Brighton (a), Manchester City (h), Wolves (a), Bournemouth (h) Soton: Forest (a), Fulham (h), Brighton (a), Liverpool (h).
Def between those bottom 5. Shame saints couldn’t hold on for a win yesterday as would have closed the gap to 3 points betwene bottom 5 (plus helped us!). Everton have some horrible games. Fee lthey have to beat wolves and Bournemouth in final 2 games and don’t lose against Leicester to stand a chance. You’d think should lose v Brighton and city although city some reason do struggle at goodison.
I reckon today's result will be crucial. Leicester and Everton in a massive game that will put one of them deep deep in it and one above forest.
It wasn't that long ago I was absolutely against them going down but now, after 2-3yrs of trying to injure our players at every opportunity, they can get ****ed!
When I was young it was a very friendly rivalry, family and mates would be split between the two clubs. It's become increasingly embittered down the years - I still think it's sad, but I wouldn't care if they go down now either. On the pitch, it's as though they know they can't match us any more, so they'll just do whatever they can to ruin our chances and take a perverse satisfaction from that.
that result helps neither. keeps things interesting there were a lot of thrown away games this round. forest absolutely threw safety away.
Better for Leicester than Everton but very marginal. As you say, not ideal for either. Leeds and Forest will be the happiest with that result
its probably the least worst for forest after throwing the lead away on the weekend via making stupid subs when in some form of control. no matter what happened they were in the bottom 3 this morning so this keeps them 3rd form bottom and 2 sides level on points with them. It is a little unfair given how poor sides have been in previous seasons to call them the dregs but it really does look like about 35 points again this season for safety. Leeds do not look capable of any result right now. Man city, Newcastle, west ham (away) and then finish at Home to spurs. Thats tough for any mid tbale side never mind leeds. I simply don't see them getting more than 34 Forest can write off every away point (even away to Chelsea!, palace will be on the beach last day as well) They play at home to arsenal. so they simply must win at home next monday v southampton. They could manage 36 i suppose Everton, Brighton A, city H, Wolves A, Borunmoenth H on the beach. Anything over 6 points is a bonus. They'll have to really scrap to get past 36. Leicester Have Fulham, then us, then Newcastle, then West ham at home. Very hard to call this stuff. I think they have ****ed up big time last night personally. The total will be entirely unpredictable here. They could as easily end on 42 as 32. the best southampton can so is 36 now. they really are done though. Brighton will do for them I hope before we play them. BTW, fulham again and forest. This next weeked with Forest v southampton and Man city v leeds, Fulham v leicester and Brighton v everton is going to be far more interesting than the other end of the prem.
Looking at the remaining fixtures a draw hurts Leicester more Fulham (a), Liverpool (h), Newcastle (a), West Ham (h) I would say at least two losses, maybe a draw and a win, 4pts = 34 Think they really ****ed last night. Everton on the other hand. Brighton (a), Manchester City (h), Wolves (a), Bournemouth (h) Next two games are a write off, so its all about those last two, but I can see them winning both as Wolves and Bmouth are virtually safe already. 6pts = 35 of course this is all speculation
it could happen, everton's last two are winnable but points in the first two are unlikely. 35 is probably optimistic but possible. The issue is the other two. Leeds and forest. where would you put those two?
