The return of Tzolis is confirmed and according to this, it was Wagner who initiated the move. "He's expected to play a role with David Wagner's first team, who contacted the Reds to discuss cutting the loan short due to lack of depth in wide areas. They agreed to a mutual consent return, with no recall option included in the original deal." https://www.pinkun.com/news/23284840.norwich-city-transfer-news-christos-tzolis-returns-loan/
The Marquinhos loan move has been taken up by many sources including this: https://dailycannon.com/2023/01/marquinhos-norwich-loan/

Rob Butler admits he got the timings slightly wrong in this tweet, but believes that there was a desire from Wagner to bring Tzolis back after seeing him in early January. We'll see what comes of it, and whether this is just the club trying to put a positive spin on a negative situation, but hopefully he can contribute to the first team and get his development back on track. Marquinhos is interesting, used to a pressing style from Arteta's Arsenal at least.
Yes, having expected little out of this window except the departure of Cantwell, Hugill and Ramsey, we suddenly have two attacking players coming in without major expenditure. Tzolis has come back from a negative situation at Twente - 3 sub appearances since recovering from his injury. Hopefully he sees this as a fresh start with a new manager who uses a playing style which suits him. Marquinhos brings some raw attacking power combined with good Brazilian technical skills to fit in with Sara and Núñez, who should also make him feel at home socially - win/win. Both players add a whole new dimension to the rest of this season, which suddenly I'm looking forward to even more.
Apparently Marquinhos passed the medical and the deal has been signed by both clubs and player: https://tbrfootball.com/arsenal-transfer-news-fabrizio-romano-shares-update-on-marquinhos/
Marquinhos, speaking to Norwich City's official channels: "I'm really happy to arrive here in Norwich and very excited to play my first game. "I've learnt a lot as part of my adaptation here in England. It's totally different to Brazil. It's more intensive but I'm adapting well in order to help Norwich. "I'm also really happy to get to know a new club, a new culture and a new city. The fans can expect that I'll show desire."

Thanks for that Dunc. Hopefully his previous experience playing with Sara can make connections quickly in our play. His pace and control could make him a terrifying impact sub initially.
Konrad De La Fuente has gone on loan to Hull with an option to buy of £1.7m - one we were rumoured to be interested in earlier in the window
