A friend of mine told me about a dinner party she was at. Her pal had a similar experience & grabbed the big turd in a handful of lavvy paper, then lobbed it out of the window. She breezed downstairs, relieved & with a big smile on her face. That was until she reached the dinner table, and everyone was staring at her with their mouths wide open. Silly bitch had forgotten that the toilet window she lobbed it out of was just above the big conservatory where everyone was seated, eating their dinner. Everything was going swimmingly until there was a startlingly loud thud, and everyone looked up to see a turd attempt to cover the whole roof of the conservatory. I never did hear what happened next as I was laughing so loud. Apparently I know the lass, hence no names were mentioned. I now suspect it was actually my pal & wouldn't put it past her.
Yes went to this game. Coppers a bit out of order. They were a bit spooked by Leeds turnout. Enjoyed the game, great view steep stand.
Yes we had a chat for about an hour before the game I went with the late Simon Peters and he had played football with Ridsdale.He also gave me tickets for Barcelona and Valencia He gave me the impression he was solely in charge and that the rest of the board members were just puppets
